I've been to this back in my navy days in the early 70s. I'm back here today & found this place really amazing. The bartender was so friendly and bubbly. Speaks a lot with proper English. She always puts a smile on her lovely face which so remarkable under the heavy stress. I'm totally amazed at this transformation. I wish to speak to the owner and give her a raise in salary. I would recommend anyone to this great pub with an old British ship fitting. Try it and let me know your thoughts.

25 Dec Afternoon, i came here with my husband to help collect food delivery order together. had never been to a bar before so i tagged along to explore inside the level 2. it was empty but atmosphere was interesting to me =) didnt know here have delivery for pizza & etc. hence waited and eye-power explore around. when my husband went into the kitchen entrance twice, i peeped from outside kitchen also to see out of curosity. but the 2nd time when my husband thought the order was ready and went to the kitchen while i took a peep, the lady in kitchen started to say (you want help me inside kitchen?) to my husband, i laughed to my husband coz i know she was busy doing up the orders solo and my husband's presence might made her abit frustrated and thus the joking question. but the next second she suddenly looked at me and said in a rude manner (if you cannot wait for the order then just cancel it and let people take. i still got another Grab order which takes 5 more mins...*inaudible scolding*) - which i just replied (orh / ok) ehh i didnt talk a single word to her before that? and my husband asked me (after the lady started scolding) he thought he told her we are collecting foodpanda and not grab? i shrugged i dont know, not to mention her sudden scolding at me when i did not spoke a single word to her before this and just chatting with my hubby about how interesting the bar is, and some stuffs around which i have queries to him. and i didnt badmouth the lady in kitchen before her sudden frustrated scoldings. shes quite rude. more staffs might be better to help around in kitchen instead of letting the lady running the kitchen and orders solo. i am not there as her lash out victim. thanks but i like the bar atmosphere though theres no customers. maybe because its my first time entering a bar.

Hi nelson bar and my favorite girls Sophie and Zila you both are amazing!!!!! Outstanding service made this bar a memorable experience. The staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient. Five stars! keep it going! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED NELSONBAR TO ALL THE SAILORS AND OTHERS THAT VISIT SINGAPORE!!!! Been here 8 years ago I been here and wow loved the new look of the bar arrangements, jane and new team management you all are amazing!! Will definitely recommend my friends to come there and support!! Cheers!!!
