Quality of food was amazing. Pizza, salad and pastas were all fantastic. We had the Napolizz pizza was a sizeable 12inch, add pineapples (+sgd4) requested by my kids, and it was a hit. Gnocchi (A) was pesto cream with prawns and there were about 6-7 prawns. Pesto sauce tasted self made and not bottled, gnocchi was chewy and fresh. Spaghetti Bolognese minced beef was juicy and substantial. Caesar salad was fresh and croutons were crunchy. Service was attentive and adequate, complimentary iced and warm water were served. Seats near the full glass windows gets quite warm over lunch. Lots of natural light, soft unassuming instrumental music in the background. Not crowded in the least on Saturday over lunch, which was surprising. Bill came up to sgd103 for 2 adults and 3 kids. There's a loyalty program, earns points for free mushroom soup. Highly recommend this restaurant for its food, ambience, and service.
We were a family of 4, 3 adults ans 1 child, and the serving was just nice, if not slightly more than we could finish. We ordered a pizza, a carbonara, a plate of wedges, a plate of calamari, and a caesar salad. We also ordered a drink each. The taste was great, and my 8yo child enjoyed every dish. The price is acceptable for the environment and ambience the restaurant provided. The service was also quick and pleasant. I recommend others with kids to try. We went around 6pm, it was about 1/3 occupied. :)
I had a rather mixed experience at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite hit the mark for me overall. The lasagna was extremely salty and lacked depth of flavour, making it hard to enjoy. The meat lover’s pizza was just average, the crust was decent, but again, the saltiness was quite overpowering. The calamari was another letdown, with a noticeably fishy taste that made it unappetising. Oddly enough, the side salad that came with the calamari ended up being the only truly palatable dish of the meal. On a more positive note, the fried chicken wings were served hot and juicy, which was a highlight. The lager was light and easy to drink, which I appreciated. As for the ambience, it was just okay. The restaurant was very quiet, almost too quiet. Some light background music would have made a big difference, as conversations carried easily between tables due to how empty it was. Service was acceptable but nothing particularly memorable. Overall, there were a few redeeming elements, but the food quality, especially the heavy saltiness made the experience disappointing.
Came on a Friday evening and not too crowded. They have a promotion of 4 chicken wings if order is above $80. The Diavola pizza was good. The prawn aglio olio pasta was also good. The chocolate lava cake for dessert is recommended. The belini cocktail was not up to standard and perhaps would improve with fresh prune juice. I must commend the service here. The food arrived promptly and service staff was very attentive. Cleared our dishes efficiently and also served water without being requested. Well done!
Rather pleasant little place, stumbled upon it. Oysters although not chilled, taste really good n sweet. Wings came piping hot and was very flavourful. Pizza and gnocchi was on point. Ribeye has a vein of tendon that was chewy throughout the whole piece, which is common, other than that doneness great and seasoning very much to our liking. Unsure what they did to it, however the rosemary added very nice aroma to the steak Very friendly service, despite full house on Xmas eve. Will definitely return for their other food!
