Fantastic experience! We organised a dinner for a group of 40 to finish our ski trip and the team were incredibly accommodating from start to finish. Joanna and her team helped us craft the menu, was very diligent with all our dietary requirements, and even handled several last-minute changes without any issues. The atmosphere was great, the service was excellent, and everything ran smoothly on the night. The food was also fantastic - the strudel was a highlight! Thank you to Joanna and the team for such a lovely evening and for making it so easy for our large group.
It's hard to find the words that accurately describe this beautiful Austrian Hutte, combined with the most delicious food and informative exhibits highlighting the origins of modern downhill recreational skiing. Our daughter and son-in-law chose this setting for their July '25 wedding, and our guests and we are STILL talking about it! Working with Jo Grissman and Chef Manuel was a joy. Organizing a wedding is never easy, but doing it from overseas is even harder. These two made all of the planning fun, simple, and relaxing. We knew from our tasting that the food was going to blow our guests away ( and it did). On the day of the wedding, rain fell, forcing us to hold the ceremony indoors. Within a few short hours, the staff, our florist (Martin Kellar), and our wedding planner (Astrid Juen-Ruppe) created an intimate, beautiful setting. After the ceremony, the staff sprang into action again and reset the museum for a beautiful seated dinner, then, if that was not enough, after our delicious dinner, they moved all tables and chairs to make way for some wild and joyous dancing. Honestly, we could not have had a better time; it was everything we had hoped it would be and then some. We highly recommend The Museum for your summer wedding. Follow our lead, and you too will have many happy memories like we now have.
There was 8 of us who came for dinner and we were seated in their private dining room which really suited the group vibe. The service was very welcoming and Kathrine was a great waitress. The food was mostly good but it was on the pricier side given the quality. My friend and I shared the herb crusted saddle of lamb (great flavour and perfectly cooked lamb) and the trout with potatoes and root vegetables (the fish was cooked nicely but the flavour overall was very bland).
This is a very upscale restaurant situated in historical old house with amazing atmosphere of the 19th century. The service and food are impeccable. Our server was very friendly and accommodated all our requests, including those that were out of the menu. For instance, one of my friends asked if the chef could make a duck breast instead of the main course as an appetizer, and they did just that. Everything was very delicious, starting from the bread and butter. They do provide you with apricot oil, which I initially thought is flavored olive oil. But no, it is a special kind of apricot oil and was so delicious that we had to ask for extra. My absolute favorite was lamb, version, and duck. From their desert menu, it is an absolute must to have Kaiserschmarm, which is arguably the best in Austria, and definitely in St. Anton. The creme Brule is also insane! We were offered a free shot of schnapps. Please take the hazelnut flavor. You will thank me later. But it wasn't it, as I mentioned the restaurant is located in a historical house and the second floor operates as a museum. Usually they charge 5 euros to visit it, but after 7 pm it is free. Our server was kind enough to give us a quick overview of the history of the region and town. The museums are small and composed only by 5 rooms, but it is informative and interesting enough to visit it to learn the history of the region. Overall it is a very nice and tasty place with a beautiful view. Please make a reservation to visit it
Treated ourselves to Museum for our final Austrian dinner. The service was good, and the food was fantastic. We got the beef tartare to start, the venison and tafelspitz as mains, and the hot love for dessert. All were delicious, food was served quickly once we put our orders through, and the museum itself is interesting!
