I had my color and body analysis done by Choi Soyoung yesterday morning and it was sooo helpful. She explained so much that I was struggling with, and even some things that I kind of knew intuitively but couldn’t quite conceptualize clearly. She gave recommendations on so much: not just color but pattern size, jewelry color and size, clothing cuts, shoe styles, bag styles, glasses styles, makeup colors, etc…it was really comprehensive! One thing I loved about Soyoung is that SHE IS A BODY POSITIVE QUEEN. I went with a friend, and we are both a few years and a few kids away from our best shape. The spots I was feeling self conscious about, Soyoung actually mentioned as positives, and explained ways I could best show my curves off. Even though we had our bodies measured and analyzed, wasn’t a hint of negativity, judgement, or diet culture vibes. We also have darker skin, and at home I’ve seen all the darker skinned ladies get the same two outcomes for color analysis every time, so I was shocked when she told me I’m a soft spring, but it’s so spot on. Today I went shopping and it was SO MUCH NICER AND EASIER to be able to zero in on the clothes that suit me and not sort through racks and racks. I suck at choosing makeup, but I pulled up my results sheet and checked the colors against her recommendations, which helped a lot, too. Plus, the chitchat with her and our translator Haley was great. This would’ve cost close to $1000 for 2 people and here it was a fraction of that price. It was entirely worth it.

My sister and I had a wonderful experience at Mood Collect! The consultant, Hyunjoo (현주) was so detail oriented, professional and had a great sense of humor. She gave so many detailed recommendations for cosmetic products which was so helpful for shopping afterwards! Highly recommend.

Our stylist Eun Young and translator Esther were both amazing — patient, professional, and so informative throughout the entire personal colour analysis. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made the session both educational and enjoyable. We learned so much about which colours suit us best and left feeling confident and inspired. My experience at mood collect was great. The stylist - Eun Young was patient and kind. She explained in detail for my colour analysis on why certain colours look good/ bad on me, and did a good job for my make up. I like that at the end of the session, they gave me a booklet to summarize all of the colours/ make up that are suitable for me. Now, I can go shop for clothes and make up suitable for me.

Went there last week with a friend and had a new experience and discovered that the color I thought would suit me was actually wrong. Ruby showed every step and process in detail and was very friendly, also the interpreter MJ was very friendly and could translate well. Knowing the shape and color that suits us will help us more easily to choose items before buying them.
