Minerva photography did amazing job at my daughter’s wedding. James has a wonderful personality and brings out the best in the people he photographs. He blended into the environment and did not interrupt any of the activities and was able to get great photos. We couldn’t be happier with James!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with James! My husband and I had an outdoor portrait session with him in Charlottesville to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. We had met with him beforehand so that we could get a sense of him as a photographer, and he could of us as a couple. Meeting with him was great: he was super accommodating to our schedule, and once we got together it felt like we had been old friends. He did a great job at putting us at ease, coming up with a plan, and really just allowing us to have fun with the whole experience. The day of the photography session he was absolutely phenomenal! He met us at a cute outdoor location in Charlottesville, right around the Golden Hour. He really had a good eye for the "fall vibes" that I was hoping to get out of these photos. He also was wonderful about direction (which I really needed!) and made us feel comfortable the whole time. It was truly a fun experience, with lots of laughter. He had sent us some preview photos before we had even made it back to our car. He also was able to get us the whole series of portraits, really quickly-- which was just an added bonus! James was a pleasure to work with, and I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer here in the Charlottesville area!!

James did an incredible job capturing the special moments at our Blue Ridge Mountain Maze Fall Festival! I was so impressed by his ability to get such great night shots. He is a top notch professional, that is a total pleasure to work with. I couldn’t be happier with the photos!!! I plan to have him as my go to photographer for future events and have already recommended him to others.

We were so lucky to have James help capture our wedding! Another photographer brought him on and from the first photos we saw, we were completely blown away. He was incredibly professional, easy to work with, and made the whole experience feel effortless. Most importantly, he captured the true magic of our day in every shot. We can’t recommend him enough!!

James was a great photographer for our event! He was very easy to work with and the pictures from our Youth Film Festival turned out great. There was also a quick turn-around on the digital photos.
