He had achieved an 🅰️ in his A Level Physics, and we truly believe this would not have been possible without you 🫵. I would like to give a big thanks to my teacher, Mr Lai for helping me through my Physics journey in JC. During JC1 and the first half of JC2, my Physics was quite inconsistent, as I did well on topics that I understood clearly, but I did poorly on topics that I couldn’t comprehend. Mr Lai has helped to reinforce my weaker concepts through easily digestible explanations with clear diagrams and frequent practices until they become solid. His MCQ quizzes did a great job of helping me recall and apply concepts fast, while his answer keys for structured questions contained clear key words and phrasing that Cambridge markers look for in candidates’ answers. All of this has helped me to improve from Ds and Us in block tests to a B in prelims, and finally to an A in A-levels. I am truly thankful for Mr Lai for the excellent resources that he provides, especially the concept explanation videos, as conceptual understanding is the building block of H2 Physics.

Mr Lai is an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who makes lessons engaging and fun. He breaks down concepts to make it easy to understand and remember, and is patient in answering questions. The extensive online resources provided are comprehensive and well organised, with lots of practice questions and detailed explanation videos. I grew more confident in tackling challenging physics questions thanks to his guidance

I joined for the June holiday crash course in J2 and decided to continue staying for weekly tuition lessons . Mr Lai's notes and resources are ample, and he always answers any questions that I have! The unlimited MCQ and his Physics bible were two things I heavily relied on and they were extremely useful in helping me to better understand physics concepts. Towards the final sprint of Alvls, he also organised extra lessons for us to review individual topics. Ultimately, with his guidance, I was able to improve tremendously in Physics

Mr Lai has helped me a lot with his engaging lessons and learning resources like video lessons and quizzes on his online portal. He is also very active online and will answer every question I have for him without fail. As long as you want to do well for physics, he will be there to guide his students and has done alot to motivate us like having reward systems.
