Meow Learning Centre

I attended Meow 10 years ago. I wasn’t good at Chinese at all and my parents paid for my tuition here. We didn’t speak it at home, and neither of my parents spoke Chinese. We came here to improve that. There was a female teacher with short hair (one of the owners I think). When I collected my O Level Chinese results I got a massive failing grade - an E8. The following week, I didn’t attend the final class. She heard about the failing grade I got from one of my classmates, and she said, “She’s not good at Chinese. She won’t be successful in life.” She was always sort of mean to me during the classes as well, because I’d always fail the lessons despite trying my best. Those words I hold deep in my heart until this day. It was ten years ago. I proceeded to easily get offers from NUS, NTU, and SMU, and I have a great job now. I’m saying this now because, as an adult, I realised that what she said was uncalled for. This is not how you treat and encourage your students as a teacher. I hope she no longer does this, and I speak for all the other students that have been treated this way.

My son attends tuition at Meow Learning Centre since late 2021. Over time, we have observed his enthusiasm towards learning increases as he has been able to understand and catch up with learning. His interest in the subjects he took tuition for is keener than before and we certainly have seen improvement in his school results. All thanks to the dedication of the teachers who have often gone beyond the classroom to ensure the students fully understand every concept taught and how to apply them. This consistent effort among the teachers have helped the students progress and therefore, achieve better results. Besides that, the teachers’ friendliness and approachability removed much stress the students face which has enhanced the learning experience. We are most appreciative of the teachers and their method of teaching. We look forward to enrolling our younger son to Meow Learning Centre too when he is ready.

The teachers at Meow Learning Centre have helped my children to understand the concepts behind Mathematics and Science which makes learning easier for them. I would recommend my friends or relatives to attend lessons at Meow Learning Centre should their children have difficulties in learning. The teachers there were very helpful and friendly which makes lessons enjoyable for my child.

Before joining Meow Learning Centre, I was never fond of mathematics, but Teacher Meow made me look at math in a different way and ever since then my results have improved. I have been a student at Meow Learning Centre for 7 years and I took math and science classes there since primary school. The teachers are friendly and they made learning easier. The materials provided by the teachers are well consolidated and understandable.

Had been studying math under Meow tuition centre for around 6 years. I am very grateful to meet excellent teachers like Teacher Meow and Mr Lau which go the extra mile to push students beyond their capabilities. Both of them are very patient and experienced math tutors and they try their best to help us understand abstract concepts. Mr Lau also provides free consults throughout the week and we are encouraged to text him anytime whenever we encounter difficult math questions that we do not know how to handle. I have learnt so much under Meow Tuition Centre, and thus would recommend it to anyone who’s keen in signing up for a math tuition!
