I worked with this company for marketing services for several months while my business was growing. During that time, they did make efforts to support my business, including some discounted services and assistance getting things set up. They also created a beautiful website for my company that I’ve received many compliments on. However, after I ended the relationship, I discovered that a phone number placed on my website (which forwarded to my business line) had been disabled without notice, which resulted in missed client calls. As a small business owner who relies heavily on incoming leads, this created a stressful situation. I also noticed that my Google Ads campaign had been disabled after our working relationship ended. When I re-enabled it, it was disabled again until I removed their admin access, at which point the issue stopped. While I believe some of these issues may have been mistakes, they did directly affect my ability to receive leads and operate my business at the time. My advice to other business owners is simply to ensure you retain full control over your phone numbers, advertising accounts, and administrative access when working with any marketing provider.

Engagement Period: January 2025 – August 2025 I hired Marketing Blendz for SEO services expecting better results from a local marketing company rather than hiring a bigger corporate digital marketing company. Instead, I experienced the worst outcome of my 7+ years working with multiple marketing firms. What Happened: My website had a Domain Rating of 11 when I hired them in January 2025 (despite doing zero marketing for the entire year prior) After parting ways in August 2025, my DR tanked: September 2025: DR dropped to 8 October 2025: DR fell to 2 Current: DR is 1.4 I want to add that by the time my DR started dropping, I lost over 90% of my organic keywords. This has never happened after leaving any other marketing company I've worked with. The Red Flag - While we were still working together, I used third-party SEO tools and discovered spammy backlinks pointing to my site. I documented them with creation dates and presented screenshots to the owner directly. He denied these were his team's backlinks (despite the evidence right in front of us) Additionally, thousands of dollars spent with detrimental results. Owner frequently deferred technical questions to his team despite having SEMRUSH open during our meetings. Lack of transparency about SEO methodologies The dramatic DR collapse suggests problematic link-building practices Bottom Line - If you're considering this company, independently verify their SEO practices using third-party tools before signing. The financial and reputational damage I've experienced was significant and preventable.
