Mamma Mia! Trattoria E Caffè @ Compass One The shopfront at Compass One is cheerful and welcoming — a blue neon sign, striped awning, and marble tables that hint at a casual Italian trattoria experience. The interior is bright and comfortable, making it a decent spot for a mall meal. We went for the Chef’s All Day Table at $23.90, which gives you a main, starter and dessert — reasonable value on paper. We ordered the chicken chop sets across the table, and while the food was decent enough, it didn’t quite match the trattoria billing. The chicken thigh portions felt small and had the look of pre-packed cuts rather than something prepared fresh in-house. Nothing wrong with the taste, but nothing memorable either. The mushroom soup was smooth and well presented, finished with olive oil and croutons — a simple but solid start. The bread with olive oil and balsamic dip was a nice touch before the mains arrived. Sides like mash potato, french fries and potato wedges were straightforward and did the job. The Tangy Twist mocktail — iced with mint and lemon — was refreshing and well garnished. Overall, Mamma Mia! is a pleasant enough stop for a fuss-free meal, but the set menu leans more toward ordinary Western fare than Italian. That said, their newer Italian-focused offerings look promising enough to warrant a return visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Not our first time here. Service by all staff was splendid. The staff in striped shirt was exceptionally attentive to us as customers. She was a blast of energy. She asked if we had any allergies and recc us the promo items. Also, this is our first time having halal rosti with the caramelised onions. Yo! That was amazing!!!! Would be great if there was sour cream to top it off.

We came all the way from Woodlands and were disappointed to find that the squid ink risotto is no longer on the menu. We really hope you’ll bring back the squid ink risotto in the future and perhaps even open an outlet in Woodlands someday 😊 That said, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Khai, who patiently took our order and was helpful when we asked for recommendations. We appreciated the excellent service!

First time trying the food here with my family. Food are tasty in particular the BBQ Wing, Seabass Risotto and Meatball Curry Cheese Bake Rice thou the curry sauce is a bit salty. Have to say that the Risotto itself is nice but not the Seabass which can be more flavourful. Cauliflower Gratin and Beef White Bolo Mafalda are so so but that's my personal taste. Tiramisu not bad but could have more sponge cake.

Milanese Chicken with Tomato Cream Pasta is creamy, nice and tasty. Well seasoned and not overly salty. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Kitchen staff had cooked the wings a bit charred and provided complimentary tiramisu, which was really tasty.
