Restaurant Burji had everything I am looking for in a dining experience. Every great meal begins with the meticulous care and selection of ingredients, which Burji obviously acheives. The crispness and flavor of their fresh herbs and vegetables were an awesome contrast to their perfectly grilled wood-fired meats and rich sauces. Traditional and rustic yet thoughtfully executed, as an American winemaker and culinary enthusiast I was blown away. I'm aware of Georgia's reputation for food and this, no doubt, was it!! They are located high in Signagi, right on the famed wall, and the covered balcony provided a spectacular 360 degree view with an awesome breeze. The wines and beers were excellent on both visits in our 5-day stay (I HAD to go twice :) and, yes, the consistency was rock-solid.
