nice place to shop for quality items and fashion
Lotte Department Store is one of famous shopping malls for Koreans in South Korea. This shopping mall is near my house and I come here quite often. They have 2 eating areas, one is at basement (B1) and one is at 6th floor. I prefer B1 because they have more delicious food and more choice than the others. Moreover, there is pharmacy at B1 which I really like because they open on weekend (most of pharmacies close on weekend) and owner is helpful and friendly. Itβs also next to Express Bus Station, subway station and local bus station.
I went to see King of Kings at the Lotte Cinema inside the department store. Since my movie was scheduled for a bit later, I arrived just as the department store opened at 10:30 AM and went to the food court on the same floor as the cinema, hoping to grab a coffee. To my surprise, Paris Baguetteβthe very first store I went toβtold me their coffee machine was broken. I believe I was literally the first customer of the day, so how can they open without one of the most basic services ready? It's a coffee-and-bakery chain, not a clothing store. Very disappointing. Then I tried Jamba Juice, but their kiosk wasnβt even turned on. The staff didnβt acknowledge me and just told me to use the kiosk while they were busy making something. Again, not a great start to the day. I didnβt have time to try other places since the movie was about to begin, but honestly, this is Lotte Department Store, not a small local shop. It was right after opening, not even near closing time. Why are things not ready? And at the cinemaβget thisβno one was checking tickets. We literally walked into the theater without anyone even glancing at us. Maybe they assume everyone is honest, which is... bold, I guess? π Overall, I expected a much more professional and polished experience from a big-name place like Lotte. The facilities were clean and the movie itself was fine, but the lack of basic service and readiness really threw me off.
Lotte Department Store in Incheon is an impressive, modern shopping destination with a great mix of Korean and international brands. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, and the food hall offers a wide range of delicious options. The renovated beauty section and kidsβ area stand out for their design and convenience, and staff are generally friendly and attentive. Prices can be a bit high, and it does get crowded on weekends, but overall itβs a stylish, comfortable place to shop, dine, and enjoy a taste of contemporary Korean lifestyle.
