I think this was my fourth time here, and I used to enjoy visiting their main outlet at Kovan. The food here is good. It may not be the most unforgettable, but it is tasty and suits most people’s preferences. I ordered the chicken, salmon, wings, and seafood stew, and overall the dishes were enjoyable. The environment is comfortable, and it’s a nice place to gather with a few close friends for a meal and catch-up. They also have two floors, but it’s often crowded whenever I pass by, so it’s better to come earlier if you want to dine in comfortably. Their brunch is also quite good — I’ve come twice for it already.
Yes go for Brussel sprouts, wings for sure. Miso salmon grain bowl was pretty good. Quite satiating and well balanced with an egg, avocado and salmon. Spicy crab pasta was decent, winning with a load of crab meat but flavourwise didn't impress me as the the first two sides we ordered. Tater tots were convenient. Waffles were stacked high up but their style is slightly under cooked. Pistachio ice cream was a bit disappointing to be honest. Overall service was good, had to wait for 20mins before we got our table but kitchen service was speedy! Thanks team :)
Have been patronising Lola’s for a while. First time trying their TM’s outlet. Food standards have been consistent and portions are decent for the price. Even though the wait was long (on a 1 Jun PH), the good staff service more than made up for it. Rarely write reviews, but they deserve one✨💫 What matters most was that our family had an enjoyable time together over good food and desserts👩🍳💋 For food, would recommend: 1. Honey Paprika Crispy Wings 2. Miso Maple Charred Brussels Sprouts 3. Tomato Crab Rigatoni 4. Miso Salmon Grain Bowl 5. Flourless Choco Cake with Ice Cream 6. Black Sesame Tart We will be back soon!
Had a really pleasant dinner experience here! The cafe has a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, with lots of natural lighting and white-toned interiors that give it a clean, minimalist feel. My friend and I had a reservation at 5:30pm, and it was still relatively quiet with only a small crowd, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We tried the $28/pax dinner set (before GST), which included 1 main, 1 drink, and 1 dessert - definitely worth it for the price. We ordered the Roasted Lemon & Rosemary Chicken and Spicy Crab Rigatoni for our mains, and both were delicious and satisfying. The drinks were alright, but the desserts were the highlight of the meal. The Black Sesame Tart and Tiramisu were both rich, filling, and full of flavour! (A must try!) Service was great throughout the dinner, and the staff were friendly and attentive. One staff member in particular was especially cheerful and made the experience even more pleasant. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience and I would definitely come back again to try more of their desserts and mains.
Had a lovely meal at Lola Cafe and tried their dinner set, which comes with a drink, a main and a dessert—great value overall. The mushroom risotto ravioli was rich and well-balanced. The roasted rosemary lemon chicken was very tender and paired beautifully with the caramelised onion and spinach, potato cream sauce. Desserts were excellent—the basil lemon cheesecake was light and refreshing, while the black sesame tart was very enjoyable and a definite standout. Service was fast and efficient, making the experience even better. 😋😋😋 Update: Went back to Lola's Cafe to try a few more dishes. The nacho cheese tater tots and the miso maple charred Brussels sprouts are highly recommended — both were really well done and full of flavour. We also tried the fish tacos, which were good — the fish tasted fresh and everything came together nicely. The squid ink paella was decent too and worth a try.
