Had another enjoyable dinner at Little Pond and left feeling satisfied. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Golden Fish Maw and Fish Soup. The broth was rich, flavourful, and comforting, with generous portions of fish slices, fish maw, and seafood ingredients that made every spoonful enjoyable. The Crispy Kampong Chicken was another standout. The skin was beautifully crisp while the meat remained tender and juicy. It paired especially well with the accompanying garlic and chilli sauces, which added an extra layer of flavour without overpowering the natural taste of the chicken. The Giant Pork Grilled Pork Collar Skewers were smoky, aromatic, and nicely charred, offering a good balance of savoury and slightly sweet flavours. The Cold Mixed Shredded Vegetables and Chilled Cucumber provided a refreshing contrast to the richer dishes, with a tangy dressing that helped cleanse the palate between bites. To round off the meal, the fragrant rice complemented the dishes well and soaked up the delicious fish soup beautifully. Portion sizes were generous for sharing, and the overall quality of the food was consistent with my previous visits. The reason for the 4-star rating instead of 5 is that service can be a little stretched during busy periods, and waiting times for some dishes can be longer than expected. Nevertheless, the food quality, reasonable pricing, and comfortable dining environment make Little Pond a place that I happily return to regularly. A great spot for hearty fish soup, crispy chicken, and flavourful sharing dishes with family and friends. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the West Mall area. 🍲🍗🥒🥢😋

Just managed to catch the offer of 30% off from 3 to 5.30 pm on weekdays. Its mentioned check out, but offer stands as long as you make payment before 5.30 pm. For 5 pax, we had 2 of the soups, Golden Sauerkraut Fish and Golden Abalone Chicken, quail eggs, rice each and then the free flow drinks/ice cream @ $1. We hesitated about getting more side dishes, and luckily so, as the order was already much more then what we could finish. The soups were good, with the Chicken one more creamy while the Fish was more sour with the salted veg inside. Both were good with the condiments like the chilli and sesame sauce. Of course, the $1 free flow of drinks/ice cream were really worth, with your coffee, soft drinks, various tea variations and the milk, matcha or mix ice cream. Only thing was that for 5 pax, when sitting at a table for 4, the pax on the middle has to squeeze somewhat because the table has a center divider that is lowered when both tables are used together. But all in all, an enjoyable makan session.

Really enjoyed the experience at Little Pond in West Mall. The restaurant was clean, inviting, and had a cosy, upbeat vibe. The staff were friendly and professional, which made the whole dining experience even more pleasant. The skewers were the highlight for me — juicy, flavourful, and very moreish — and the cold dishes were surprisingly memorable too, especially with how fresh and well-balanced they tasted. The fish didn’t quite stand out for me this round, so I’d probably explore a different preparation next time. Still, overall a very satisfying meal and a place I’d gladly return to.

The food was fresh, comforting, and beautifully prepared — perfect for a satisfying meal with family. What truly made the experience stand out was the exceptional hospitality from Qing-jing and Han-na. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great time. Their service was prompt without being intrusive, and they went the extra mile to ensure everything was just right. It’s rare to find such heartfelt service these days, and it really made a difference. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for not just good food, but also a memorable dining experience. Will definitely be back!

Outstanding Dining Experience – Highly Recommended! Little Pond Restaurant (West Mall) truly exceeded expectations! We ordered the Sauerkraut Fish Steamboat and shrimp paste chicken wings, and every dish was impressive. The soup had the perfect balance of tangy sauerkraut flavour and rich, comforting fish broth. As someone who usually avoids sliced fish soups due to the common fishy smell, I was genuinely impressed by the quality here. The fish was exceptionally fresh, tender, and completely free from any unwanted smell. A clear reflection of quality ingredients and careful preparation. The $1 add-on for unlimited soft drinks and ice cream is an excellent value-for-money bonus that makes the meal even more enjoyable. Overall, the food, taste, freshness, and dining experience easily deserve 5 stars. Seating is convenient for couples, while families and larger groups may experience a short wait during busy hours as a good sign of a popular and well-loved restaurant. Definitely a place worth returning to…
