Really happy with the service from Leong Yik! I engaged them to retile my living room and bedrooms due to popped and cracked tiles in the living room and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. My POC is Johnny. He thoroughly inspected my home and gave us a clear and detailed explanation of the condition of our tiles. Based on his professional assessment, he provided practical recommendations without being pushy, which gave us confidence in the solution. He is very responsive and always replied promptly to my messages. He was also patient in answering all my questions and addressing any concerns that I had, which really gave me peace of mind throughout the process. The project was completed according to the promised timeline. Milestones were adhered to as stipulated and the workmanship is excellent. The new tiles look great and everything was done neatly. Will highly recommend Leong Yik as a reliable contractor for retiling work!

We recently had our balcony levelled and retiled by Leong Yik Engineering & Contractor Pte Ltd, and we are extremely happy with the results. Johnny personally came down to assess the area and provided honest, practical advice on the best approach, including recommending the right tile size and explaining clearly why smaller tiles may not give a clean, neat finish. He also brought along a few tile options for us to choose from, which made the selection process very easy and convenient. During the hacking works, the team took great care to properly protect the surrounding areas and kept the mess to a minimum. The workmanship was neat, precise, and completed to a very high standard. Overall, we are very satisfied with the entire experience and would highly recommend Leong Yik Engineering & Contractor Pte Ltd 👍We look forward to engaging them again for our next renovation works.

Renovation works were completed about 6 months ago so I think now is the best time to leave a review as I have had enough time to experience the house. Person-in-charge of overseeing my home renovation was Danny. Pros: 1. had the chance to look at the workshop 2. Danny gave suggestions when sourcing for tiles 3. He meticulously completed the measurements and offered suggestions on storage solutions for the kitchen. 4. When I had problems with the cornice [another company], he helped to communicate to explain. 5. The cabinets look beautiful I genuinely think he is a good interior designer and has good ideas. But as a home renovation contractor, there were many issues. The biggest problems were quality, disorganisation and slight lack of accountability. A few spots of the floor tiles were chipped [and shoddily touched up], the rubbish chute replaced was rusty etc but I will expound only on these below as I feel they are more worth mentioning: 1. Workers did not paint my door frames and wanted to leave. When I asked them about it, they were clueless, contacted Danny and upon realising they had to paint the doorframes, did such a shoddy work. 2. Worker also informed me [defensively, if I may add] that he had mopped the house 11 times. But the floors were sandy everywhere [even after acid wash] and when I asked Danny, he gave vague responses. Then, he offered to send his workers down again to clean even though it was impossible because it would clash with my moving day (which I had told him several times prior) and honestly, by then, I had lost faith in them to do a good job. I eventually hired the services of another cleaning company. That company cleaned the whole house and finally, the floors were shiny and polished. 3. While the sink pipes were being fixed, I asked about of one of the pipes left unattached needing a T-joint. Danny told me it was not necessary. So I casually mentioned how I had gone to the supplier to ask and was told a T-joint was needed. He immediately said he would get his plumber to fix it. [I had gone just the day before to find out and the supplier had told me clearly the contractor had to supply the T-joint]. 4. The sink also had a leakage issue. I had to call plumbers to fix the sink twice within the first 2 weeks I moved in. That plumber also exasperatedly told me the materials used were of poor quality. 5. The shower head was not fixed properly [I had to call a handyman to fix it]. To be fair, when I conveyed this to Danny, the company compensated me with the amount I had paid the plumbers/handyman. 6. The water heater could not work so I contacted the manufacturer. He came and said the water heater was installed wrongly. A part was also missing. I asked Danny and he claimed it was there, sending a picture of the installed water heater that he had [though the picture taken was when the water heater was only halfway installed]. So I understood that he did not want to take responsibility for the missing part. Judging from how everything was installed wrongly, I could only assume the workers had thrown it when they did not know how to install. But I couldn't be bothered to argue anymore. 7. 3 months after I moved in, one kitchen light was flickering and its light socket gave off a sound at times. It was scary so I called an electrician and he said the wires installed were too tight. He fixed and replaced it. Again, to be fair, some of the problems above probably would have been rectified had I brought them up. However, for a customer, when you see such levels of quality, you lose the trust and instead, you worry if the 'fixes' might cause more problems. Even today, I wonder if any other problems might suddenly pop up like how the light socket issue had. Chips and paint issues are annoying but plumbing and electrical works are essential in a home and need to be in good order. In summary, I am not a satisfied customer. Hopefully, my feedback will help others, as well as help the company in improving their services.

I engaged Leong Yik to replace kitchen tiles at my parents’ place which had popped and cracked. Johnny was very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. His prompt replies, regular updates, and patience in answering my elderly parents’ many questions was much appreciated. The quote provided was also very reasonable. The workers were friendly and efficient, and the excellent work done was completed according to schedule. They ensured the entire job was done smoothly and took care to ensure my parents were not inconvenienced. I highly recommend Leong Yik. Thank you very much for the fantastic work done.

I recently hired this company for a renovation that included floor tiling, full electrical rewiring, painting, and patching up our kitchen walls. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely hire them again. Why they are great to work with: - Excellent Communication: The boss is incredibly nice to talk to and responds to questions as fast as he possibly can. - Amazing Problem Solving: They are highly accountable. We noticed our heater switch was installed in the wrong place, and they relocated it immediately when asked. Later, an electrical point issue caused our fridge to lose power, resulting in us having to throw away our food—but the company stepped up and provided compensation for the loss without hesitation. - Accommodating: Because I have a dog and hotel stays are expensive, I negotiated hard to compress their standard 1-month timeline into 3 weeks. They actually managed to pull it off so we could move back in. It is rare to find a renovation company that is this honest, responsive, and willing to make things right. Highly recommended!
