Currently in IP4, I joined LJEC at the start of Secondary 3 after not doing well in Secondary 2, where my results were around a B3. Within just one year, my grade improved to an A1 consistently. The lessons at LJEC are highly structured and carefully planned, with a clear understanding of what schools and examiners are looking out for, ensuring that each lesson is focused and effective. A wide range of useful and comprehensive materials is provided, which helped me feel well prepared and more confident during my school examinations. My teacher, Ms Sarah, is dedicated and experienced, and she provided consistent and strong guidance throughout the year. Her feedback was clear, specific, and constructive, helping me refine my work, while her engaging lessons kept me motivated and supported steady improvement over time. Overall, I’m very grateful for my experience at LJEC and would highly recommend it to students who are struggling or aiming to improve their grades.

Teacher Sarah has been very kind and supportive during my learning journey. Even though I only studied with her for about two months before my A Levels, she helped me improve my GP and guided me to analyse topics more deeply. I especially enjoyed the arts topics we discussed, and she used different types of questions to help me think more critically. Through her guidance, I learned how to develop clearer arguments for both EQ and AQ, and eventually achieved a B for my A Level GP.

My daughter went back to LJEC in P6 (after stopping for 2 years) and showed great improvement in her PSLE English, moving from AL4 in Primary 5 to AL2. She really enjoyed the lessons with Teacher Hema, who made learning engaging and easy to understand. The lessons helped build her confidence, improve her language skills, and develop better exam techniques. We are very thankful to Teacher Hema for her dedication and support.

I enrolled my son for PSLE English with LJEC earlier this year, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. The lessons were clear, engaging, and highly effective. With consistent guidance, my son grew in confidence and eventually achieved AL1 in PSLE English. I’m especially grateful to Teacher Sarah for her detailed feedback and personalised support, which made a huge difference in his preparation. Stepping into my olvl year, I was really nervous for my English grades as they were dropping. I used to fall between the c5-b3 range before joining LJEC, but that changed quickly and I saw a drastic improvement. I ended up scoring an A2 for my prelims and finally an A1 in my olvls. I am really grateful for the teachers (especially Ms Sarah) and materials provided by LJEC. If not for them, I probably would have only been able to score a B3 for my olvls.
