Like any new business, after start-up costs are tallied there were little funds left over for the luxury of a graphic designer. So, I did the best I could in Word and placing PDFs. The labels were ok, but they certainly would not turn heads alongside the infinite varieties of craft beer selections on a shelf. She then went on to create a Pumpkin Ale label which received rave reviews at a festival in November, and which helped it to sell out in less than 2 hours! I am so excited to begin retail placement in stores in the spring because I am fully confident it will draw consumers’ eyes and lead to more sales.
