When we started building our house, we came across Kisetsu while considering various companies, including major home builders. When we attended a viewing of the completed house, we were able to experience firsthand the unique design and quality that was not available from other companies, and decided on Kisetsu. During our home building meetings, Kisetsu made various suggestions based on our requests and the actual livability of our home, and created a design that made every aspect meaningful. Even after construction began, we were regularly updated on the progress of the construction site with easy-to-understand photos, which always gave us peace of mind. Now that our house is complete, we are very happy with our home, which uses natural materials throughout and is extremely simple yet packed with attention to detail. We are truly glad that we chose Kisetsu to build us a home that we will enjoy for years to come.
We commissioned Kisetsu to build our two-family home. I think there are many people currently struggling to decide which builder or construction company to choose for their own home. I'd like to share my honest thoughts in this review. First, I was also very unsure about which builder to choose. Ultimately, I had paid a well-known builder (though I haven't seen their commercials recently) to design our home, and we were on the verge of signing a contract. However, I wasn't satisfied with their proposal, and that's when I learned about Kisetsu on a review website. It was a fateful encounter. I immediately booked a visit to their model home and went to Kisetsu. The first thing I felt upon stepping inside was an indescribable sense of calm. Model rooms from any builder are always top-of-the-line, which can feel somewhat unsettling. Many people probably feel a sense of unease. Kisetsu's refined design and housing performance are excellent, of course, but the sense of calm you feel when actually living there for a long time is completely different. I also visited many model rooms from other well-known builders. I attended many open house events for completed homes. My honest impression was that they were far removed from model homes, with various elements cut to suit the budget of the homeowners, resulting in houses that felt the same no matter where you built them. It made me feel like we had to convince ourselves that we, too, had to accept that model homes are just model homes and compromise. In contrast, the homes I visited at Kisetsu's open house events were exactly like model homes in terms of design. I wondered if this was a model home too? The finish was so perfect. It was the first time I'd experienced such a lack of discrepancy. Of course, I was extremely satisfied with the finish of my own home. Regarding proposals, Kisetsu provides proposals that are tailored to your budget while maintaining their unique style. Also, since most manufacturers separate sales and construction, if the salesperson doesn't understand the site, various problems can arise during construction. In this respect, the representative who provides the proposals has actually built numerous homes, so the consultations are precise down to the smallest detail. In addition to their high level of technical skill, they also have a high level of design expertise. Also, suggestions for cutting or adding elements are discussed only after mutual agreement, so there are no regrets after construction, and we can comfortably live in our home. And, strangely enough, while the proposed renderings certainly make building exciting, I think most manufacturers will just build something that looks like the rendering. However, Kisetsu's finished product far surpasses the rendering, with details that aren't apparent in the rendering. I'm truly glad I entrusted my project to Kisetsu. I hear that the cost of building a house is rising everywhere, but Kisetsu offers proposals that fit within your budget. Don't give up just because you see their construction examples and think they're out of your league; if you talk to them, it might be a fateful encounter for you, the reader of this review. Also, all the staff at Kisetsu are wonderful people, and it's so enjoyable talking to them; I'm still grateful. I'm truly glad I built my house with Kisetsu. Even if I were to build another house, I would definitely want to ask Kisetsu to do it. ⭐︎ I know there are many people who are feeling uncertain. I still love Kisetsu's houses, and I've written a long review, but if you're hesitating, I think you'll understand the meaning of this review if you take the first step and visit Kisetsu. ⭐︎
First, I would like to express my wife's gratitude to Kisetsu. "Thanks to Nozomi, we were constantly excited from the start of building our house until completion. Your suggestions, which took our lifestyle into consideration, have resulted in a comfortable home. Spending time in the living room overlooking the courtyard with sunlight streaming in, is especially special. Thank you so much for making our dreams a reality. Your sincere attention to even the smallest details has made every day filled with happiness. We look forward to cherishing our time together with our family in this home. Everyone involved in building our home did an excellent job, with great care and attention to detail. We are truly glad we asked your company to help us." Our home has also been featured on Kisetsu's YouTube channel. kisetsu YouTube HOUSE IN SAIKAWA [Room Tour] Single-Story House with Courtyard / High-End Living My wife and I were considering building a house, and it's been a year and four months since we hired kisetsu to build ours. We couldn't be more pleased with everything: the exterior, the interior rooms, the garden, and the comfort of our home. We're truly grateful to kisetsu for bringing our dreams to life. Thank you so much. When we first considered building a house, we paid a design fee and had Sumitomo Forestry draw up blueprints for us. We imagined Sumitomo Forestry's home showrooms and explained our needs to the sales staff, but they only offered proposals that were completely different from what we had in mind, so we gave up. Then we found kisetsu's website, and the beautiful examples of their work sparked our interest. However, we were worried that we wouldn't be able to build such a wonderful home on our budget. After hearing about it, we decided to give up if it wasn't possible, so we applied to visit the model home and visited. When we saw it in person, it was just as beautiful as the photos. Our representative, Nozomi Hadano, also gave us a clear and thorough explanation, which gave us hope that we could build our own house. Afterwards, we were able to tour the completed site, and our expectations grew even more as the building closely reflected the atmosphere of the model home. At the same time, they came up with a wonderful plan that exceeded our expectations, and the price was within our budget, allowing us to sign the contract smoothly. Once construction began, we were both excited and anxious about whether it would be the home we had envisioned. Our house is by no means large, but they carefully and meticulously built it over a period of six and a half months from start to completion. On the day we handed it over, we were truly impressed with the home, which exceeded our expectations. It seems that some home builders try to make a profit by rushing work in about half the time required by Kisetsu, but Kisetsu did a truly thorough job. All the contractors on Team Kisetsu were excellent. The carpenters in particular were outstanding. If you're considering building a house, I recommend you come and see Kisetsu's model home and completed site to experience it for yourself.
We built our house with this home builder. From the initial consultations, they not only said "that's great" about our ideal home, but also offered helpful suggestions like "we think it would be better to do it this way," which was very helpful. As this was our first time building a house, I don't think we would have been this satisfied if we had relied solely on our own opinions. We are also grateful for their thorough and attentive service during regular maintenance.
As this was my first time building a house, there were many things I didn't know, but Kisetsu made suggestions from a perspective that I hadn't heard from other companies. "If you do it this way, it will be easier to live here," "If you arrange the traffic flow this way, you will have these benefits in the future," They carefully explained the reasons for their suggestions, and I felt more and more at ease with each meeting. Construction is currently underway, and the on-site work is very thorough, so I am really looking forward to seeing the house take shape.
