Kinki Restaurant + Bar - Japanese Fusion @ Customs House

Food is good, the full glass window gives unblocked view of mbs and the bay area. We ordered food to share, there are at least 4 other items (fries with takoyaki toppings, chicaron/ pork belly, plain fries, mushrooms claypot rice...) with I forgot to take pic. My highlights are the grilled items (mixed grill and pork jowl) and the unagi rice bowl. The grilled beef is very tender and chicken meat ball well seasoned/ tender. Unfortunately, the chichiron had a very bad stale oil smell. The price is very high. For the high price, the service does not match up. It is very difficult to get attention of the staff, we were seated in front of the bar/ near entrance. The restaurant was was about half full when we were there. We requested for wasabi and it took more than 15 mins despite reminder. Our 2nd order of white wine took abt 30 mins to come. White wine not well chilled. Rice bowls was served with only one spoon in the claypot. Default table setting has one pair of chopsticks + side plate. Service can be improved

Excellent atmosphere, welcoming crew. Very accommodating, from the moment we stepped in till seated all details have been taken care of. Enjoyed the sushi we ordered, especially the golden age and dragon chaser. We opt for the root top bar, chill environment with DJ spinning overlooking the Singapore slimline. Nice view of the MBS and nightlife of Singapore night view. Shoutout to the crew working here tonight, Lanie Eli & Matt. Great service crew and really meticulous. Their attention to detail was nothing but marvellous. Will definitely be back here again because the excellent service crew. Kudos

Booked for weekend brunch. Food: The menu was great value for the array of dishes offered. The complimentary starter of wagyu carpaccio was delicious and much appreciated. Apparently, the wagyu cuts arrived at 5am that day from Japan! We indulged in various sushi - salmon sake / seared yellowtail, etc. We ordered multiple servings of fresh sashimi, various rolls (ingredients are supplied and you roll it yourself - this was fun). For mains we had the Wagyu Sukiyaki and the Snowcrab hotpot. Both were yummy. Only the deep-fried squid tentacles were chewy. I had the free-flow beverage package (red/white wine, sake, beer) which was again excellent value at SGD38. Venue: The restaurant has a superb ambience due to its setting on the waterfront. Lovely views over the bay and beyond. Service: What can I say? We were pampered by Joan, Nan and the team. They were so friendly, even though the place was very busy. We were sad to leave but will definitely make it a priority to visit the next time we are in Singapore. I highly recommend this venue for the reasons stated above.

Amazing rooftop experience! The views were incredible, the atmosphere was relaxing, and everything was well worth it. What made the visit even better was the staff (Worly and Dan) they were genuinely warm, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Their excellent service made me feel well taken care of. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great views and outstanding hospitality!

I am a repeat visitor in Kinki and have been patronising for as long as I can remember. I do recommend lunches dinners either for business or casual. Ambience and food quality is superb. The YuSheng we had at that price is with good quality sashimis.
