King Kong Den

Second visit and the restaurant still managed to surprise me. As tomorrow is Women’s Day, they kindly gave us a complimentary strawberry cake. My first visit was during their launch and there were giveaways too. I really appreciate having such a cosy spot in our neighbourhood where we can just relax and chill. Today’s experience was great as well — I ordered the King Kong burger to share with my girl, and the waiter was thoughtful enough to check with me first because there’s usually liquor added on the side. 🥰

I recently visited King Kong Den and felt the service process really needs some review and improvement. When we arrived, it was unclear whether there were available seats. Customers were just walking in freely, and only after that would the staff start looking around for available tables. It would help if table availability was managed more clearly so customers know whether they can be seated. We ordered a platter that stated it included wings, but what was served were chicken bites instead. When we clarified with the staff, we were told that was correct. We gave our feedback, but it would be better if the menu descriptions matched what is actually served — wings should be wings, and chicken bites should be clearly stated as such. The ordering process also needs improvement. Our order was keyed into the system but there was no repeat-back for confirmation, nor were we given any order slip or reference. Unfortunately, one of our items was missed entirely, and we only realised after waiting quite a while as the staff appeared busy. To his credit, a young staff member eventually apologised, quickly placed the missing order, and even gave us a slice of cake as a gesture for the inconvenience, which we appreciated. Overall, the staff were polite, but the workflow and ordering process need better coordination. Simple steps like confirming orders, providing an order chit, and managing table availability clearly would greatly improve the dining experience.

Had a great dining experience at Kingkong! The restaurant has a fun and unique atmosphere, with eye-catching décor and a vibrant vibe that makes it stand out. The western food was well-prepared, flavorful, and served in generous portions. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall ambience was comfortable for both families and groups of friends. The creative interior design, especially the signature Kingkong burger and Kingkong sculptures, adds a playful touch and makes the place very Instagram-worthy. A great spot if you’re looking for hearty western food in a lively setting. Will definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

Had a great experience at this dog-friendly fusion restaurant! The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us and our pups feel comfortable. The menu offers a wide variety of options and everything we tried was delicious. Perfect spot to enjoy good food without leaving your furry companions behind. Will definitely be back!

Enjoyed a birthday dinner with my grand niece. It’s our first visit to King Kong. 6 adults, a teen and 6 primary school girls. The service was friendly, atmosphere chill and kids friendly. There is even a pet friendly area space for pet owners to dine with pets. The food is less salty, still delicious and the presentation is appetising. We love their unique serving wares. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size, though not economical for daily meals. Hope they can come out with a lunch menu that is below $8 so that residents will visit more regularly. The current lunch set at below $10 is already a very good deal. Situated front the Tampines Boulevard Park, it’s a pleasant place to dine in. A walk in the park completes a healthy meal.
