Keystone Tutors

Keystone Tutors found a good British-based tutor (Benjamin) to coach my daughters for UK school 6th form assessment interviews. We felt this was necessary as my daughters have never lived in the UK and have been entirely schooled in an Asian public school system. It was all a black hole for them. Over about 6 sessions, my daughters' confidence grew, they became more motivated to participate in the admissions processes and developed better ideas about 6th form subject choices, and were able to compare and contrast the A level route versus the IB route. Benjamin was an experienced teacher very familiar with British schools and admissions processes. Keystone offered a personal and supportive engagement and understood our needs. Appointments were easy to make and reschedule. Outcomes were great and my daughters have quickly attained offers from two very good schools. I chose 4 stars over 5 because I couldn't choose from a list of tutors and fees are on the high side. But the tutor allocated to us was great, and the fees were justified by the quality tutoring and outcomes. I recommend choosing Keystone if your children would benefit from this support for their admissions processes

Jun was instrumental in helping us find the right fit for our son who was sitting the UKISET 14+ exams. Jun was super responsive, helpful and went above and beyond to find us 2 incredible tutors on very short notice. Zillah and Harry were both excellent; they understood my son, how he learned and knew the best way to engage him and get the best out of him. They were both enthusiastic, explained concepts clearly, checked in on him frequently and made the lessons something that my son looked forward to. Outstanding support from Keystone Tutors We have had an excellent experience with Keystone Tutors, and I would especially like to recognise Zillah Boraston, my son’s science tutor. Before starting tuition, my son was struggling with Science and consistently scoring below average, finding it difficult to achieve over 60%. Since working with Zillah, his understanding, confidence, and exam technique have improved significantly. In his most recent assessment, he achieved 83%, which is a remarkable turnaround. What has impressed us most is not just the improvement in results, but the way Zillah has built his confidence and clarity in the subject. The progress has been tangible and sustained. He walked through all the important questions I had, and helped to host a mock interview which was deeply similar to the one I actually had. Managed to get in thanks to his aid!
