Richard Tooro from Kabarole tours, and Percy as my guide, made a dream come true. I stayed in Uganda for eleven weeks, combining travel and volunteering. Richard Tooro was the only tour operator who crafted a really unique itinerary for me. I was doing a round-trip of Uganda, but taking breaks at different points where I would stay longer. Richard really listened and understood what I wished for, crafting this unique experience for me. Communication with him before and during my journey was always reliable and prompt. He is devoted to conservation and edudation and dedicated to let his clients go on a journey where they can connect to the country, people and culture, as well as nature. The same holds true for Percy. I am forever thankful that he was my guide. If you have Percy as a guide you will experience a very personal journey because he is interested in connecting his clients to the country and its people. He is funny, thoughtful, kind and caring, very responsible, perfectly organized, a great driver and animal spotter, and always keeps an eye on each and every detail. He will give you great tips and guidance on the journey. As Percy is really interested in getting to know his clients, he will find all the right suggestions for you. He also knows many local guides, is well connected and very generous in sharing is knowledge and expertise. Through this you get an extra surplus when traveling with him, as other guides will also share their knowledge and help along.

I had the most amazing time with Kabarole Tours, visiting Queen Elizabeth NP on Safari. The owner is very friendly and kind, like a father figure, ensuring everything runs smooth. They were happy to discuss an itinerary that was best suited to my rather limited budget and were very communicative throughout. I arranged the whole safari very last minute (two days notice), but they were still able to ensure everything was taken care off, from food, gorgeous accommodation, car rental, and a driver who is a trained wildlife guide (certified). My guide was so welcoming, professional, and had an incredibly high level of knowledge, all while being flexible to my needs and taking care of everything. I really can't recommend this company enough, and I'm very grateful they were able to provide an affordadble safari experience while still delivering such high quality.

Are you looking for exciting activities to do on your holiday in Fortportal, or are you just travelling around Western Uganda? This is the place. It is located in the city center at the entrance of the hotel referred to as Travellers.’ They offer lots of souvenirs for you to buy & gift, well planned walks & tours, and they’ve been around since 1992. Most of their staff members are friendly & knowledgeable in their field.

We did a city walking tour in Fort Portal with Kabarole Tours. The organization was straight forward and we had a fast response on our WhatsApp request. The guide Florence was amazing! She was super nice and showed us the whole city (whispering palms garden, local markets, recycling shops, churches and mosques, tooro botanical garden). She grew up in town and could tell us alot about community life and answer all of our questions. We would highly recommend her, especially if you are looking for a female guide!

I requested a Last Minute Tour from Kigali, Rwanda, to Bwindi NP and to Lake Bunyonyi in Uganda. Everything went perfect: Information before the trip, support during the trip and of course the activities were selected in the best way. Thank you!
