Hands down one of the absolute best BBQ spots in Singapore! βThere was already a queue and the place was completely full. The outdoor seating has a great vibe reminiscent of an European sidewalk cafe, with bright red tablecloths lined up along the path. π Buffalo Wings: We tried both Level 2 and Level 3 spice. Fair warning: Level 3 starts burning the back of your throat after a while and the heat really stays there! Level 2 is much more manageable and leans slightly on the sweeter side. βπ Triple Special: Great value! You get to pick 3 meats between pulled pork, beef brisket, chicken thigh, and pork ribs. It also comes with seasonal vegetables and a choice of side (baked beans, fries, or potato salad). The potato salad was absolute bombz! βπ₯ The Sauces: Incredible. They hit the perfect balance with just the right amount of vinegar tang to cut through the rich, smoky meat. βπΊ Happy Hour: A total steal at 3 beers for $21!
Interesting retro atmosphere albeit dimly-lit and dated. Theyβre famous for their buffalo wings which are really quite spicy and substantial for a meal by itself, though the sauces can get a bit too cloying for my taste (same applies for their ribs.) Prices are on the higher end though weekday lunch deals are available. Worth a try if you havenβt visited before!
Food was spectacular, atmosphere was a little dated. Buffalo wings: Fried perfectly, sauce was tangy and brought the dish together. Wings were pipping hot. Branch set + half rack ribs: Bacon had the smokiness of the grill, Omelette was just a little bland but it paired well with the bacon. Ribs were super tender, fallin off the bone. The bbq sauce is homemade with prominent ketchup. Absolutely amazing. Hashbrown was crispy, with a soft interior. Fried mushrooms: Juicy, hot, fried to perfection.
Went for an early dinner and the food was delectable, the right amount of smokiness and seasoning. 5/5: Deep fried mushrooms, Chicken Wings, Pork Ribs, Beef Brisket, Fries, Potato salad 4/5: Oxtail stew (was abit too starchy, but went really well with the bread) Atmosphere wise, indoors felt a little dark but outdoors was pretty warm around 5plus. Inevitable in SG!
Came here for lunch. Wasnβt a hot day so so sitting outside was ok. The oxtail soup was a surprising hit. BBQ pork ribs were great as usual. Fajita was fine, just that the amount of meat portion compared to other dishes were not as much. Beef brisket was great, pulled pork was decent. Service was excellent as usual. Highly recommend you give this place a try! There is a reason itβs been around for so long.
