food is not authentic, sundubu jiggae tasted like it lacked of any kimchi and tasted like a instant noodle spicy seasoning pack, kimbap lacked sesame oil. service did not refill my banchan or water despite being a empty restaurant at 5-6pm with only 3 tables
*** WORSE KOREAN EATERY EVER *** *** If you have not been here, DON’T *** I live nearby, decided to give it a chance, regretted every bite, I should have just went Little Vietnam or 河畔烧烤 just bloody next door. Ludicrous price versus food quality. 1. Fried Chicken 3pcs - It is so bad grudgingly bad! Its frozen rubbery soaked in grease limping fried chicken can’t compare to every other fast food chain. 2. Chives Pancake - Similarly greasy, spongy and limp! Chives were definitely due way past, it just won’t bite through apart! What a shame to Korean pancakes 3. BBQ Pork Belly - Either the meat was similarly frozen and past due else it’s just ridiculously lousy cuts, It’s so tough and overcooked dried, it felt like I am having cheap roasted pork/烧肉 at industrial estate canteens
Visited Honey Night on a weekday evening for the second time. We decided to come back since our previous visit was quite enjoyable, but this time the experience felt a little less consistent. The Soy Bean Tofu Soup was unfortunately too salty for our liking, which made it hard to finish despite the generous portion. The Chicken Mayo Rice tasted decent but felt a little overpriced for what was served. Service was also a bit on the slower side, even though it wasn’t too crowded during our visit. On a brighter note, the atmosphere remained cozy and comfortable, and the staff were polite. Hoping our next visit will be closer to our first experience.
I'm not sure where other reviewers have gotten the delusion that this is authentic Korean food. Firstly, none of the staff are Korean, and secondly, just look at the photos... The cold noodles were stale and sweet, which should not even be possible... I'm not a gourmet, but even a 16 year old part timer at a random 분식집 can make better 냉면 than this... I changed my order to Soybean Stew because the cold noodles were basically not fit for consumption, thinking it's impossible to mess up Soybean stew, but the Soybean stew was equally bad... shiitake mushrooms and cubed tofu that is sour and tastes like it just came out of the packaging. 된장찌개 is NOT the same as miso soup. I'm shocked at how bad the food was, and it was not cheap either. The only saving grace was the understanding staff and the good vibes... I think this is more a drinking spot and less a place to eat. Anything tastes good when you're drunk.
We felt so disappointed and did not enjoy the food. Food is definitely overpriced with the quality given. We ordered fried chicken, seafood pancake, rice ball, pork belly and spicy pork with octopus. Total $150 but the quantity and quality was so lousy. The fried chicken is so dry with strong frozen taste, the crust is thick and hard, rice ball only can taste mayonnaise, pancake is hard and salty with no seafood taste, pork with strong gamey taste and hard. The worst Korean food we ever had in Singapore. The staff is quite rude as well. However it could be a good place for drinking, not recommended if you looking for nice Korean food.
