This home plus shopping center is within walkable range from back gate of CNU, Gwangju. Parking facilities are good. Level 1 and 2 are for fashion products mainly garments store. However, the real store is at basement that is level - 1. A large department store. There we can find food items, vegetable, fish, meat, confectionary etc. This floor also have home decor section. Can be overwhelming in case you are looking for anything in particular. Searching takes a lot of time in getting the correct item. Product prices seems logical but not cheapest. Overall experience we can visit and kill time there.

Homeplus is the second largest discount store retailer after E-Mart. This homeplus is located in the east gwangju. It takes just 10 minutes from chonnam national university campus by taxi. You can also opt out for bus (bus no. 18) from the back gate of chonnam national university campus, which will takes around 15 minutes to reach this homeplus. You will get almost everything here. Clothes, shoes, electronics, kitchen stuffs, food items, sports stuffs, Beverages, chocolates, Icecreams, Beauty products, blah blah blah. A lot of varieties can be found with wide range of prices.

A good place for shopping from home to clothes, variety of eateries can be enjoyed.

A big supermarket where you can find pretty much everything for your daily needs. Prices are cheaper than most mini mini market, and sometimes there are discounted products too. If you come near the closing hour, you can get very cheap product with 1 day expiry time.

Its really far from U-square..Store is really dark and cold.Just don't like the vibe the store gives off.Although the ladies that work there are really helpfull .
