We’re really happy with the overall workmanship—the quality is excellent and clearly done to a high standard. Elvis was a pleasure to work with—easy to communicate with, reliable, and very reassuring throughout. We were quite overwhelmed with renovation decisions, but he helped make sense of everything and turned our ideas into a clear vision, even when we struggled to articulate them. The on-site team—Ashik, Vankdesh, Tun, and Dipu—were great. They kept everything neat, tidy, and fuss-free, which we really appreciated. There was only one hiccup—a delay of about two weeks due to the CNY period—but aside from that, everything went smoothly with no last-minute surprises. Elvis was always open to adjustments and refining the design along the way. One small note: some installations were set a bit higher than expected for an Asian household, so it’s good to confirm height measurements upfront. That said, the team fixed this quickly without any fuss. If you’re hesitating because Hobi mainly does carpentry, Elvis also introduced us to their partner construction team, Sparkz Construction. We worked with Irwins for the electrical, construction, and plumbing works, and that turned out to be such a blessing as well. Really glad to have found a reliable contractor—we’d definitely engage Elvis, his team and Irwins again!

HongBin Carpentry did a fantastic job on my home renovation. My home features unique kitchen corner carpentry, and the design was executed very tastefully with great attention to detail. The workmanship of their workers was excellent, and the quality truly shows in the finished result. What impressed me most was the attitude of the staff and workers — professional, responsible, and pleasant to work with throughout the renovation process. Overall, I’m very happy with the outcome and I would highly recommend HongBin Carpentry to anyone looking for quality work and reliable service. You can dream, create, design and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it requires people to make the dream a reality. We would also like to acknowledge the supervisor electrician (we didn’t manage to get his name), who was extremely meticulous and helpful. He took the time to guide us—especially as we are not very familiar with such matters—on the best placement for certain fittings, which we truly appreciated. Hobi was very professional from the start. At first we were hesitant as we thought its only carpentry and we needed contractor too. However Einda the sales contact assured us they had a partnership contractor too. She also help us to draw our dream home on the spot right before our eyes, which elsewhere we never had the service before. We were happy with the works as they help us to rectify again when there is any defects on the carpentry. The price is very reasonable and not overpriced or any other hidden cost that was included in the quotation. Thank you to Hobi team for their support on our new BTO house. Dalwin, Sany and Dipu did a great job on my home. Engaged them to do a fluted panel partition and tall unit to house my appliances. They were easy to work with and their workmanship is great! Would definitely engage them again in future.
