Extremely disappointed. Ongoing billing without service being provided. I’m documenting this publicly because repeated private attempts to resolve the issue have gone nowhere. After onboarding, communication dropped off completely. My assigned account manager left the company without notice. No replacement was assigned. No proactive outreach occurred. I had to initiate contact myself just to find out what happened. More importantly, the service itself has not been delivered: Hibu does not have access to my website. Hibu does not have access to my Google Business Profile. No one has requested access or performed work. No updates, optimizations, reporting, or strategy discussions have taken place. Despite this, billing continues. During this period of inactivity and lack of account management, my rankings declined. When I requested cancellation due to lack of service, the only response was a generic reference to the contract. That ignores the core issue: a contract requires performance on both sides. Billing without providing the service is not honoring the agreement. Without access to the required accounts, no campaign work, optimization, reporting, or management can occur. My assigned rep left, there was no continuity, and no one has been managing delivery. This is a material failure to perform. I am requesting a clean separation, an end to billing, and written confirmation that my accounts and listings are released. If this is resolved promptly, I am willing to update or remove this review to reflect the outcome. If not, I will continue to document this experience accurately so others can make an informed decision.

RevLocal was purchased by Hibu in late 2024. Not sure whether RevLocal remains as a separate company. While with them the results were mediocre (increased my reviews from about 20 to above 50, but my search ranking was significantly diminished). I opted not to renew my contract beginning in January 2025, but was billed for 2 months anyway. I fought the charge with my credit card issuer, Huntington, but for reasons I won't get into here, Huntington did not reverse the charge. My review of Huntington, my bank for nearly 20 years, will come next. If you are looking for help with your search rankings or reviews, keep looking. There are better options that cost a fraction of what RevLocal charges. Or Hibu.

Having RevLocal manage our online marketing needs is one of the best decisions I've made as a new business owner. They know what they are doing, and they do it well. They are very responsive, proactive and really look after our business. The monthly calls are a great way to keep on track of what we are working on monthly basis. I highly recommend RevLocal to those very busy business owners that either don't have the time, or don't know how to manage their online marketing.

Great company, really helping to build recognition for my small business! I currently am doing the local search and review marketing, which are both crucial! I really enjoy working with my strategist Jessica. We meet monthly to stay on track with is great, she always has great ideas that I implement frequently, and overall she just goes above and beyond to help me build my business. I can tell she truly cares which is a great touch :)

I hired RevLocal for my small business' digital marketing earlier this year and I've seen great success! The revenue coming from online advertising has increased dramatically and my marketing strategist, Hanna, has been so easy to work with. She responds very quickly to my questions and understands my business and goals well in order to make recommendations that would work best for us!
