Get here early and add your name to the seating list. This place was packed with a waiting line when I visited and that says a lot considering the various options in the neighborhood. The service was attentive and quick. I appreciate that the mixed drinks are priced at $12. The drinks were decent, some better than others. We shared the spinach artichoke dip, burgers and fries. The food was OK. I would recommend this as a place to kick back, have a few drinks and casually people watch.

I originally wanted to go to the Crying Tiger next door, but it turns out they're the same company. It's a very quaint little bar. I ordered Wisconsin cheese and a special rum cocktail. The decor is very unique, and the metallic lights are beautiful. The bartender is pretty. I'll definitely go again.

I has such a wonderful experience at Gus' Sip & Dip! From the moment we walked in the atmosphere felt warm, cozy and inviting. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy quality food and drinks. We started with the crab dip, which was incredible Rich, creamy, and full of flavor -- easily one of the best I had. The artichoke fritters were Crispy on the outside and tender on the outside, perfectly seasoned and absolutely addictive. Pizza excellent. The warm olives were a simple but delicious touch, adding a savory balance to the table. The jumbo shrimp cocktail was fresh, chilled perfectly and beautifully presented. To top it at all , the Irish coffee was smooth, perfectly blended, and the ideal finish to the meal. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. You can really tell they care about both the food and the costumer experience. I will definitely be coming back and recommendig this place to Friends!

Amazing spot with great drink deals and delicious snacks! The $12 martinis really can’t be beat, and the food menu is good with lots of great options. The ambiance in here is very fun, but I recommend trying to get there as easy as possible since it fills up very quickly and they don’t take reservations. The breakfast martini was delicious and they have a fun drink menu with something for everyone. The fries and dipping options were yummy, but the cheese curds were amazing! I absolutely recommend.

Took the time on our most recent Chicago trip to go to Gus’. We got there right when they opened, and just watched the place fill up without ever being too loud. The vibes were exceptional, and please take time to visit the bathrooms for a true trip back in time. Service staff is incredibly accommodating and very mindful of allergies. They provided egg free dips and sauces for my wife and still included specialty food picks to prevent cross contamination. We started with the artichoke fritters, truffle cheese fries, and shrimp cocktail- all were incredible and a great start to the meal. My wife and I split the wagyu beef dip and the turkey dip, each were insanely good. Cocktails were all delightful, and having such a wide variety but still nailing each and every drink is nothing short of impressive. Can’t wait to come back.
