Good place for a meal. The food at pm serving is fast. Like 5 to 8 mins waiting time. Another 10 mins for fish head curry. The food though good is on the salty sweet side. Many chefs these days cook without tasting their food before serving. It's either that or their taste buds are slanted on the savoury side with the chicken powders msg etc. The food I ordered are fresh though. But I feel can order less fried stuff. The reused oil is common to save money for businesses, while it's nothing wrong, it gives high trans fats, it's on consumers to be more aware how food are prepared.
Decided to visit and bring parents for a dinner. Mum ordered fish and the staff recommend shun hock. I think it's super good. Crispy on the outside, meat inside is soft and very fresh. Their service is very good. Dishes are served very fast. The cereal prawns is very good. Big fresh and juicy prawns. And the cereal taste is very good. I also ordered the special pork ribs. The taste is quite unique. the meat is tasty and soft and juicy on the inside. Thanks. Only the fish is pricy at $99. But whole family feels its well worth the $.
For 5 people the small portion should be enough.The seafood hor fun was very good.love the cereal prawns most as very fresh and meaty.Prawn Paste chicken wings were a bit smaller size though.if one order the Chili Crab then prepare to pay a lot more.
Ordered fried Kuey teow with chicken cube. Regrettable. The chicken is hard. Looked like has been fried , kept inside fridge and refried. Flavour of kway teow not up to standard. Cashier girl asked me to sit and wait. Don’t bother to ask me what chilli type I want. After telling her the food was served without the chilli. Still want to ask me to go back table and wait for chilli? lol I went to take myself.. Better improve your service and manpower . They looked too stressed . Not recommended food and service. Will never come back for sure.
Slightly on the salty side. Dishes r quite unique and taste not bad. Nett price. Pork rib can be softer and chicken can be in bigger piece. Lots of seats.
