We had a wonderful evening at Frau in Mond. The view ist stunning, the variety of drinks is balanced, the food menu could be more extensive. We had excellent service and enjoyed this unique spot very much. We will certainly come back.
Discovered this place in Munich while it was hosting a rooftop event, and it was great. Located on the high floor of the Deutsches Museum, the roof top is super nice. One can enjoy a great sunset with Isar in the background. Drinks are relatively pricey but lots of options. Ambiance and staff were good. Did not try the food !
Highly recommend to visit this place! Great atmosphere, beautiful outlook onto the city & fantastic food! Drinks are a little pricy but worth the money. We will come back ASAP 🤩
I attended the rooftop DJ event and arrived at 6:50 PM, well before the 7:00 PM deadline for the complimentary Aperol that was included with the ticket. However, due to a very long queue and slow admission process, I was only able to enter at 7:05 PM. When I asked whether I could still receive the drink since I had arrived on time, I was told no, and the response I received was simply: “This is life.” That was disappointing and left a very negative first impression. It felt unfair to pay for a ticket that included a benefit and then miss out on it because of the venue’s own queue management. Unfortunately, the weather was also not taken into account. When it started raining, everyone had to move inside, which resulted in overcrowding and made it difficult to order food or drinks. On the positive side, the DJ was great, the location is beautiful, and I can imagine it being a lovely place at sunset. The food we tried was good as well. However, the organization and customer service did not meet expectations, and I would think twice before attending a similar event here again.
Atmosphere and food are very good, yet a tad on the expensive side. I really loved the house background music that gives this rooftop a nice and cozy feel. Book well in advance as the place is constantly booked out and only has limited seating. The highlight of this place is definitely the Passion Fruit Soufflé, I recommend you get one per person and do not share as you won't want to miss it. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because service was exceptionally slow when we were there - we waited a total of 2 (!) Hours to get our food and desert in total (it was a Monday night, not a Friday/ Saturday). This is not entirely the waiting staff's fault, the ordering system used seems buggy and slow. All in all, despite the long waiting times, the Passion Fruit Soufflé alone makes up for the experience.
