Three and a half years ago, my partner and I came up with an idea for a mobile application. That idea grew into a dream and was eventually fine tuned into a vision. Neither of us had ever owned a business, and we definitely had no app development experience. But we did our research, began reaching out to developers, eventually chose a company, and started our journey. In the beginning, all was well. Ideas were plentiful, and our dream started to feel like it could actually become a reality… but after two years and tens of thousands of dollars, after one missed deadline after another and promises that were never fulfilled, that dream began to fade. It was honestly an awful experience that left us frustrated, exhausted, and at times feeling like our dream was slipping away. Then we found Founder’s Approach. From day one, the experience was completely different. Professional. Transparent. Organized. But more importantly, they genuinely cared about helping us succeed. Our main point of contact, Cole, has been absolutely incredible throughout this process. I honestly can’t say enough good things about him. And now, less than a year later, we officially have a live app in the app stores. That still feels surreal to say. My experience with Founders Approach (FA) would be rated beyond the allowable star limits . Dating back to late-2019, when I had the idea to create a mobile application to help people find resolutions in their relationships. Dave and the team were able to building super refined MVP version of Ecomplicato along with a landing webpage. When I came across a chicken/egg situation in order to scale the web app, Founders Approach was ready to work on developing a coinciding web application. Phil has been my right hand in this new project. He assisted in helping with the vetting process for me to hire an outside AI engineer and building the front end of the new site. Along with integrating an AI agent in the mobile app, Phil has also worked on the various marketing integrations tools. As my ideas have grown, so has the work needed to make them come to reality. Founders Approach have found solutions to all of my requests and it would not have happened without the professional and personal approaches that both Dave and Phil provide.

I have worked with Founders Approach on the development of two websites over the past year, and the FA team is awesome! Dave, Cole, and the rest of the team are so easy to work with. On the most recent project, Cole was our lead. I threw a lot of information, questions, and requests at Cole, and he and the team took it all in stride. The communication and responsiveness was amazing! Being able to talk through the process of building the new website in bi-weekly meetings and emails, when needed, was ideal for myself and the non-profit organization I work for. I felt fully in the loop throughout the entire process, and that was key for myself and my team. Our team at Johns Hopkins has been working with Founders Approach for over a year. Working closely with lead developer Cole Barger, we and the Founders team have been building a site for medical professionals that has involved multiple layers of information to convey. Cole has provided expertise in design, layout, and so much more to create a site that has wowed our intended audience! He and the team have also been very responsive (and patient!) as we request changes to the design. He also gave key advice for how to conduct user focus-groups to improve the website.
