Didn't know there was an eatery here, and since it's named "famous" decided to try it out. The portion matched the description (small or regular etc) but the prices were on the slightly high side for the medium portion for the rice and noodle dishes. Extremely slow service and food came sporadically, but due to it being the dinner crowd and just 2 cooks (open view of the kitchen) that was probably the case. My friend ordered (from what I think it was from what was served to us) the Moonlight Horfun, Seafood Ee fu Noodles, Fried Rice, hotplate beancurd, Garlic and Honey Pork Ribs, Fu Yong Omelette, Prawn Paste Chicken. basically from the photos you can see what it was, and pardon me if I got rhe dish wrong. Honestly, the food verdict? Not really worth it. The Garlic and Honey pork ribs was not bad, tender and juicy, and the Moonlight Hor Fun had wok hei, but that was it. The hor fun itself seemed plain with more kway teow and beansprouts than ingredients. Ee fu noodles was pretty standard, but no wok hei or standout flavor. Hotplate beancurd was ok. quite standard tasting. The veggies were tasty, but the portion was tiny. The Egg Fu Yong was quite devoid of flavor as well. The freeflow ice-cream though, was a nice touch on a hot day. Staff were helpful and friendly though. The worst was the Fried Rice which was soggy and had no flavor.

Sunday lunch on Mother's day, our first time here figured out the location behind the drop off lobby of the tower side. The aluminium roof is hot, giving the ambience of kampong. It is open space concept with roof. We had beehoon lala, fish head curry, coffee rib, spinach and 3 eggs, fried beansprout. Beehoon is fragrant and not salty. Spinach with 3 eggs is good, can taste saltiness from salted egg. Chicken with spices tasted great with fragrant of black pepper. Free ice cream is a nice treat. Pork rib and curry are slightly too sweet for my liking.

Had a nice dinner here. Very value for money. Good food, child playing area, free flow ice cream, a stage for band and magician. Great service. Hokkien noodle was flavourful and full of ingredients, worth the price Prawn paste chicken was not oily

The lala beehoon is highly recommended. Always order this whenever we visit. I loved the fish head curry as well. Those are my favorite and plenty of good choices for entire family. This is the place we always go for a good comfortable zichar dinner. Reasonable price and very comfortable seating - not super crowded like some kopitiam places. The service was great despite being a busy night - and a couple of service staff checked back a few times to see how we find the food. Overall a great zichar restaurant

Excellent service, crew actually advise us to chose another option from what we ordered to avoid duplicate dishes. Food waiting was less than 15 mins even with crowds. I vote so far my best Zhi Char in the west comparing to other places. Price and food portion so reasonable from what I shown in the photos. Folks who read this post should really come and try yourself. There's even a small area for kids to play while adult dine, parking also convenient.
