We’re based in San Antonio and recently needed on-site support for a client in Tyler, TX after one of our access control devices was damaged. I reached out to ETV Software and spoke with Tana, who was incredibly helpful and professional from the start. They coordinated a technician to handle the install of the replacement device, and the entire process was smooth and efficient. Their team charged a fair rate, didn’t tack on any extra trip fees, and most importantly, the technician they sent did a fantastic job. Our client had nothing but great things to say—he was friendly, efficient, and communicated clearly throughout the visit. It’s rare to find a partner that you can trust to take care of your clients like you would, and ETV absolutely delivered. We’re grateful for their support and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of IT or technical services in the Tyler area.

This place will take your money and call you back with an outrageous amount knowing how much it took to complete the job originally and not saying so upfront. Hardware highjacking. When I picked up my computer without using their service and complained they laughed and told me to get out. So basically they stole 50.00. Horrible entitled Tyler business. They dont deserve to be in business and clients beware. There are other computer businesses in Tyler, shop around is my advice.

Horrible customer service. Did nothing but take my money. They kept my computer overnight never even looking at it just put it on a shelf. When I asked for a copy of agreement was told they would email it. They did not. Called and was told they would. They did not. I called again and she said she would. They then sent email without it. I called and she had a bad attitude. Said their techs were working to be able to email it and to come get my computer. First they were able to email because I got an email from them just not with the attachment. Getting rude when someone is asking you to do what you said you would do is not a business I want to deal with. And then not giving me my money back when they never even looked at it is stealing in my opinion. . . . Reply to your reply. I did not expect it to be overnight service. I asked for the agreement and when it was not given I was told to come get my computer. As far as paying for service to check in, diagnose and sourcing parts, that would have been fine had that happened. Only what happened was: she picked it up, walked a few feet, put it on a shelf and less than 24 hours later, reversed that. While I understand time is money, those few steps were not worth what you kept. Had you looked at it at all to try to diagnose it, I would have said okay but again, a few steps were all I got other than bad attitude and that is unethical in my opinion.

ETVSoftware delivered excellent repair service for my wife's Dell laptop computer. I trusted my gut not to let the few low reviews deter me from choosing them to look at and estimate my repairs. From the time I was greeted in the lobby by the ladies at the front to the excellent status updates from my Technician Luke, I knew I was in good hands here. The pricing was very fair and in my case they worked with me regarding my own purchased parts that was not used. This review is not based on my feelings but the excellent service and all around experience I had. I highly recommend giving this business a chance if you want your equipment repaired correctly and in a timely matter.

I took my laptop here for a screen issue a few years ago just to get it back with a little light bleeding on the side but also didn’t work without the charger. I was charged over 200 and wasn’t satisfied. Now I’m taking IT classes and went into my laptop recently just to realize they left my battery unplugged from the motherboard! It wasn’t even close to being plugged in the plug was just hanging there loose on the motherboard.
