Here today for the book launch and dinner. The place is historic with writeups of old time and relics from the TCM past. The atmosphere is cordial. The staff friendly and hospitable. There is a good range of drinks, we had the Delirium Red, Jeju Island, Autumn Equinox and Megsy Ginger Beer. Everyone was happy. Of course the vegan dishes were fabulous. The Green Goddess is my favourite, light and green. The Mushroom Goreng has the right crunch. The ShaoBing tops it all with the huge delicious filling in the centre. The Lasagne Verdi was light and spicy. Not to forget the nuggets with the tasty sauce. Last but not least the banana cake that was light and tasty. We were full but we ate . ...A very good dinner. Thank you to all. ***Too busy eating, no time for food pictures.
Came for the Lion Dance Cafe popup. Food is amazing, beer is good, as usual. Highly recommended for drinks, and hope the Lion Dance Cafe takes root in SG!
Been to Druggists a few times already. Great selection of beers! Yummy food! Recently had their pizza which was so tasty! Big plus for me: dog-friendly outdoor seats!! So my furboy can hang out with us too! A good venue for small events too! Cosy and super friendly boss!
Not too echoey with the sound proofing. Good selection of beers. Didn’t try the food but prices and pictures look good. Love the historical vibes interior exterior of the place; but with no mention to the history. Main gripe: chargeable tasters and service charge for self-service? Awww. Ok but still nice place to chill so gotta be aware
Update: 22nd March 2026 In responding to Druggist. The answer is very simple without reinventing the wheel or try to come out with unsustainable solutions. Follow NEA guidelines "5-Metre Rule: Smoking is strictly prohibited within a 5-metre radius of entrances, exits, and windows of buildings (including eateries) where smoking is banned." The next visit, if I see anyone smoking at the Shrine bench, I will not hesitate to file a proper report to NEA. The crafted beer was refreshing, and the finger foods were well-portioned when served. The young gentleman who showed us to our table was well-mannered and polite. So here's why I decided to give 3 stars. I noticed that when guests were smoking at their tables (referring to the outdoor seating area), the serving crew would remind them to stop smoking inside the compound and advise them to smoke just outside the shop, where there are two long stone benches. To me, this doesn't help. I was sitting right next to the stone bench and bore the brunt of it as a second-hand smoker. I would recommend the owner look into this, if this is acceptable. The setting was definitely not pleasant and uncomfortable for me, all because of someone's pleasure.
