The lady cashier with short hair on the first floor around 7 PM stopped us with a loud voice and asked us to wait. She requested that we show our receipt to confirm payment for the items we bought (like why? do we look like thieves?! Such irrelevant profiling). Prior to that, she's the person who told us that items from the second floor should be paid for on the second floor, which was the first time we encountered this policy, as other Donki stores do not have it. After payment and we are about to leave, she made a commotion—so loud and unprofessional (which was her mistake initially). So uncomfortable.
These guys have a bit of everything, and all at great prices. We needed sunscreen, snacks and milk - check. The store is crammed and the shelves are crowded, but, hey, that's what I expect from a discount store. It was fun to browse. If I lived in Kodaira Don Quijote would be my go-to.
Opened late and well staffed. Everything is easy to find. Labels are mostly in Japanese but the images are easy to understand. Some items are really good bargains, like snacks and drinks. Electronics are not very well procedure, you can get better deals online.
I just love this one. Very cheap and great service. More chill & laid back than other locations. If you love in the area, own a bike or car, this spot is prime.
A nice ドン・キホーテ . One of the few ドン・キホーテ shops where you can buy food. And it's usually really cheap. Otherwise the usual but not as noisy as other branches for example in Shinjuku.
