Matt and Jim were a delight to work with. Both took time and care to understand the brief and the communication was excellent throughout the build. They produced a finished product which flows seamlessly and perfectly articulates our company's story.

Asked Jim to create a corporate eBrochure and he didn't disappoint. Creative, great design and good ideas from start to finish. He was responsive, friendly and client focused. Can't recommend highly enough and would definitely use again.

Matt and Jim are fantastic designers as well as being really lovely guys. Working with them has been so easy and straight forward and enjoyable too (from my point of view at least!) and they have designed a site for me that is better than I hoped for. I shopped around a bit before deciding to go with Designers Up North and they were really affordable compared to some of the other quotes I had and their customer service was better too! Highly recommend them if you need a new website or design work!

Jim from Designers up North dropped me a cold email that would have normally gone straight in the bin. But I had already come across their work several times and it had made an impression so we arranged a chat. Talking to Jim, it turned out he really knew his stuff when it came to SEO and marketing - so many web designers (and templates - especially templates) give you a pretty site, but you'll struggle to fit content in or rank the site. Setting up the new site has been a really involved process (maybe because I like to get my hands dirty) - so Matt and Jim listened to my preferences and brief and we have come up with a new look which is a bold new direction, nodding towards both Bauhaus and high end magazines. Overall I'm really happy with the site, but Jim / Matt are still constantly there for support, and keeping an eye out for opportunities to get the website ranking and in the view of my target audience. We're already seeing improvements in rankings and search traffic. Also - the site is constantly tweak able, with an intuitive back end so you can update pages and create visually appealing blogs with ease. It's early days, but I really believe this (despite the high up-front cost) has been my best marketing spend over the last few years and the website they have designed is a really solid platform to grow and build from. Also - they're really personable and always there if you need support/ advice.

Worked with Designers Up North on a last-minute magazine advert, and with only a short brief, they quickly turned around a design that perfectly matched our brand from the first draft. The team is friendly, professional, and easy to work with. We’ll definitely be using them for future design needs. Highly recommended!
