I attended Digital Hollywood Sendai! As you'd expect from a well-known design school, the curriculum was thorough and easy to understand, and the environment was perfect for even beginners to learn thoroughly. The best thing about it was the presence of trainers. At Digital Hollywood, active creators are always on-site, creating an environment where I can immediately ask questions about anything I don't understand. It was really reassuring to be able to get advice not only on technical questions, but also on my portfolio, which is essential for changing jobs. Starting something new takes courage and can sometimes be difficult. But I think your motivation will change dramatically depending on whether or not you have people to support you. I attended the Web Designer course. Although I had no prior experience, I learned the basics of design, how to use Photoshop and Illustrator, and coding, and within six months I was able to create simple websites. The environment was such that I could consult with active trainers and staff at any time, so I think it's the perfect place for those who feel uneasy about studying alone at home or who want to study in a different environment. I was also able to connect with other students who enrolled at the same time, so we were able to encourage each other and maintain our motivation until graduation. I also feel that the ability to receive design feedback, career counseling, and participate in various events even after graduation is a great advantage of Digital Hollywood.

I took the web design course. Having been at home for many years due to childcare, I was constantly nervous about contacting them and going to the studio, but I was relieved to find that the staff were all very friendly. Since the course was mainly video-based, I could study at home or at the studio. Therefore, I was able to adjust my schedule as needed, even while raising children, and proceed at my own pace, successfully completing the course. Even after graduation, I sometimes visit the studio to consult with them, and I feel that choosing Digital Hollywood Sendai was the right decision.

I previously took a web design course. Compared to other schools, I was attracted to the fact that I could take the course both online and in person, that I could be taught by active trainers, and that I could experience everything from planning to design and coding for my graduation project. When I actually attended the school, the trainers and staff were very attentive and listened to what I had to say, and it was so fulfilling that I looked forward to going to class. After graduating, they also helped me with career counseling and portfolio creation, and I was able to successfully find a new job. If you're considering attending classes, I recommend listening to what they have to say at an information session or trying to learn on your own first!

I'm a graduate of the Web Designer course. My previous job was as a ramen shop staff member, and I had absolutely no experience in the web industry, but I currently work as a markup engineer at a web production company. The school's studio is on the 26th floor of a building, offering an open and spacious location with views all the way to Rakuten Stadium. The learning style involves a curriculum tailored to individual schedules, where you progress through the course videos at your own pace. A major difference from other schools is that active web designers are always present in the studio. If you have any questions, you can ask them directly on the spot, and they will explain things carefully verbally. While online communication is possible, face-to-face instruction makes it easier to convey intentions and leads to faster understanding. This was a deciding factor for me when choosing this school. Regarding the difficulty level of the learning, it's definitely not suitable for complete computer beginners. Basic mouse operation and typing skills are essential, and you need skills such as being comfortable using the internet daily with browsers like Chrome. Since actual work involves coding, English input and smooth typing skills are also required. The software used for learning is primarily Adobe. We use Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver. These can be purchased at a student discount price through the studio. Even if you have no prior experience with Adobe software, they teach you how to use it from scratch through video lessons. It's not a simple graduation at the end of the course; you must pass assignments and a graduation project to graduate. For the graduation project, each student freely creates a website. In my case, I contacted a privately owned steamed bun shop, conducted interviews, and created a website that is actually operational, not just a virtual one (it's still running). Professional designers judge the presentations, so you can't let your guard down. If it's not good enough, you'll receive serious criticism. It's tough, but you'll definitely gain solid skills and confidence. The studio staff are all very kind and friendly. It's not a "goodbye after graduation" kind of thing; they regularly hold get-togethers and events for graduates. Even just coming to visit is welcome. They also provide job placement and career change support after graduation, and I received a lot of help from them until I landed my current job.
