Dan's Steaks - Bar & Grill (Serangoon Garden)

Awesome experience - was given a recommendation and made a reservation through Visa Concierge for a dinner at 8.30pm on Sunday, restaurant was not too busy and the place had really good vibes. Steaks were served really nicely done, quick and well-portioned. Sides were generous and tasty. Was served by a really cool English guy - who had an amazing personality and humour. Made the experience we had at a pretty highly-rated french restaurant by the Bay the day before pale a lot in comparison, overall. They have great promos throughout the week (eg Monday 50% off 2nd Mains) too. We’ll definitely be back!

Came for an early dinner on a Saturday. Seems like we came at the right time at 5.30pm before the main dinner crowd came. Ordered the 600gm USDA Prime Ribeye and it was perfect at medium rare. Sides portion were good too! Everything was pretty good. Perhaps the aglio oglio could be better seasoned but overall still good! Highly recommended!

First time to this restaurant Atmosphere are great and the songs they played as back music are absolute good selections too The only thing I can feedback is maybe the food smell that may lingers a bit on your clothes after that as we hang out there till it closes. The food is absolutely delicious! We order a starter, and a main with 2 sides for 2 girls. It’s was a Saturday night therefore they have drinks at 10+ /glass promo for wines and beer Hokkaido scallops with bread was the starter that we ordered. Absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked with the bread, complementing the garlic olive. Next dish was the wagyu beef steak with Mac and cheese with mushrooms sides. We ordered it medium rare and it was nicely done for us. Absolutely perfect tender texture with good beef quality. Service are very prompt and everything was great. It’s definitely a hidden gem and I will go back again We also ordered 3 rounds of alcohol therefore the bill adds up abit But the food price is definitely reasonable for the quality they delivered!

First, let's discuss the main star of the dinner, the 600gm prime rib eye. It had a good flavour, but certain areas were a slightly too tough and veiny even by ribeye standards. The sauces it came with were strange as well, a garlic puree and upon request, a wasabi mustard that didn't taste like wasabi nor mustard... The sides were average as well for the price. The Mac n Cheese had no crust and the sauce was too runny, the creamed spinach did not have enough flavour. The Brussel sprouts and the chicken thigh however, we're pretty good. The Brussel sprouts having a nice char without tasting burnt and wasn't too vegetal and the chicken thigh was moist with a nice crust. I will commend the deserts as they were pretty good! The cookie was amazing especially with the ice cream and the brownie although, not spectacular on its own, paired well with the ice cream

Always wanted to try this restaurant as we always walk past it. Staff were friendly and engaging, atmosphere was chill and the food was above average for this price. All the dishes were excellent especially the melty camembert, caesar salad, Berkshire pork chop, mentaiko pasta and monster cookie. Will definitely come back to try their other steaks as well.
