Dallas Restaurant & Bar at Boat Quay is a multi-level contemporary bistro located in a historic shophouse overlooking the Singapore River. Established in 2004, it is well-known for its Western and Tex-Mex cuisine, riverside views, and versatile event spaces. The restaurant is spread across three distinct levels, each offering a different experience:Level 1 (Bar & Alfresco): A casual bar with a breezy outdoor seating area right by the river, ideal for people-watching and enjoying the evening breeze.Level 2 (Restaurant): A more formal, intimate dining area with plush seating for a quieter meal.Level 3 (VIP Lounge): An exquisitely appointed space with a private bar and a balcony providing expansive views of the city skyline, often used for corporate and private events. The menu features a variety of American and Mexican-inspired dishes. Popular items are Dallas Chicken Wings and the Black Angus Prime Rib Steak. Serves Pale Ale 🍺 on the tap, not many venues do!

Definitely recommend coming to Dallas. The cocktails were delightful and not watered down, shout out to the bar tender. Marrinell was our waitress who was so attentive, kind and caring and absolute sweetheart that made the experience even better. Highly recommend the ribs with the fiery sauce amazing! Food was delicious.

Popped into Dallas for a couple of beers. Seems a decent place mostly frequented by local finance workers or tourists. Service was good, staff were friendly, beer was cold. Happy Hour $12SGD ++. Not the cheapest on boat quay but for location, service and atmosphere I thought it was good.

Lovely restaurant by the river. The atmosphere is 10/10. My expectations for a $30 steak wasn’t high, but it was soooo delicious! Also the best fries I have ever had.

Had their steak and frites, which features a 250g cut of 100-days grain-fed Five Founders ribeye, with a marble score of 2+, served with shoestring fries. Each steak is prepared one day in advance. β€’ And we were genuinely surprised by the thickness. We even questioned the menu: is this really 250g? It felt heavier! β€’ Despite its size, the steak was incredibly tender and juicy, done American-style with signature grill marks and a deep charred aroma.

You can choose from BΓ©arnaise, peppercorn, mushroom, or veal jus β€” and yes, you can request all three sauces. That’s what we did!
‒ Sides are available as individual add-ons and are not meant for sharing. β€’ We especially loved the creamed spinach
‒
We were already very full just from the steak and frites alone. But if you’ve got room for more, don’t skip the desserts. ‒

The steak really exceeded expectations, especially on the thickness and tenderness. Big thanks to the amazing Dallas team for the warm hospitality @cheechin.chew on Instagram
