Costco is amazing. I always enjoy checking out stores in other countries. Costco did not disappoint. Everything was in English and Korean. Alcohol tasters-not available in the US-was awesome. Bulgogi pizza was a tasty slice. The fruits and vegetables were amazing. Beef was all cut for Korean BBQ. We bought coffee and snacks! Well worth the trip
We always try and get to a COSTCO when we travel away - it's a comfort inducing experience for me since all the aisles are as expected. It's nice to compare prices too.
Who doesn't like Costco? It is fun to explore the warehouses in other countries. They don't do tax refund and they don't allow inside with the drinks even if purchased at their food court. As all Costcos it is big, has variety of local and international items. One aisle dedicated to skincare and they even have a section with alcohol (unheard of in Canada) with alcohol demo testing. Food court has local items (bulgogi pizza and kiwi kale smoothie/milkshake, etc.) There is no root beer available and the hotdog sausage is better than in Canadian version, despite being smaller. Also, food comes on real plates with real utensils!
B-R-A-V-O-!! Excellent selection, reasonably priced and so easy to shop the large aisles. Lots of samples to try. The Food court has phenomenal mushroom soup, Caesar salad, Lattes, Delicious Bulgogi Pizza and seasonal beverage and dessert options. For all my Americans enjoying long travel in South Korea 🇰🇷definitely check out this location to obtain your homeland cravings. Highly recommend the Cockoo rice cooker it’s awesome and all the K-Beauty skincare.
Another wonderful Costco visit. Deli visit was a must and it was good to see fresh watermelon juice back on the menu. It was the perfect thirst quencher for the oven like heat outdoors. The pork bake was fantastic. Very generously stuffed with delicious, tender pork. Tteobokki was also generous with as many fish cakes as rice cakes along with a fresh hard boiled egg.
