Costco Wholesale Kisarazu Warehouse

During the three-day weekend in February, this was the only store in the Kanto region I hadn't visited yet, so I stopped by while visiting the outlet mall. The flat parking lot was very spacious, and since there are no large commercial facilities nearby, the roads seemed relatively clear. ■Good Points ・I've been a member since 2010, but the store was about as empty as when I first joined, making it stress-free to browse. ・The parking lot is very spacious; it was the easiest parking experience I've had at any store in the Tokyo metropolitan area so far. ・Gasoline felt cheaper than at stores like the Misato location. ・I was able to see the rare Costco headquarters building, albeit from a distance. ■Disappointing Points ・While the parking lot is large, the store itself isn't that spacious. The number of displays and products is definitely far fewer than at Makuhari. ・Because the store was so empty, the number of staff and sample offerings seemed low too?? ・Since it's the flagship store, I wondered if they'd have early-release items or rare products?? But there was nothing special. It might be okay to visit after stopping at the Kisarazu Outlet via the Aqua Line... However, with almost no nearby restaurants or dining options, the overall satisfaction level feels lower compared to other stores in the greater Tokyo area, especially considering the convenience of shopping and entertainment nearby before heading home. Also, the return trip took a significant amount of time due to heavy traffic on the Aqua Line. Staying late on weekends could make getting back towards central Tokyo quite difficult.

Costco Kisarazu was a great experience and one of the more enjoyable Costco locations I’ve visited. The warehouse was spacious, well organized, and easy to move around even with a lot of shoppers. Everything felt clean and stocked, which made shopping much more comfortable. One of the best parts is the variety—you can find everything from groceries and snacks to electronics, household items, clothing, and seasonal products all in one place. There were plenty of items that felt unique compared to regular supermarkets, and it was fun discovering products you don’t usually see. The food section was also worth stopping by. The portions were generous, the prices were reasonable, and it’s hard to leave without grabbing at least one food court item before heading out. It added to the whole experience and made the visit feel more like an outing than just shopping. The staff were helpful and efficient, and checkout moved surprisingly quickly considering how busy it was. Parking was convenient and the overall layout made it easy to spend time browsing without feeling crowded. Overall, Costco Kisarazu is more than just a place to buy in bulk—it’s somewhere you can actually enjoy spending time. Whether you’re shopping for essentials, looking for imported products, or just going for the experience and food, it’s definitely worth the trip. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Very nice warehouse located on the outskirts of the city. It tends to be less crowded during weekdays, with short lines at checkout counters. The shelves are consistently stocked with a wide variety of products, including fresh produce, household items, and specialty goods. If you can make the drive out there and prefer avoiding crowds, Kisarazu warehouse is a convenient and reliable place to shop for your needs.

Like many families, we visit Costco Kisarazu regularly because it’s a convenient place for bulk shopping and household essentials. Some products are offered at very good prices, and there are occasionally excellent deals on larger items as well—I’ve even seen great opportunities for things like bicycles and home goods. The large quantities can be both an advantage and a disadvantage depending on the product and family size, but overall the store covers most daily household needs well. However, I’ve been quite disappointed with the bakery section. On three separate occasions, we purchased cookies that were burnt and extremely hard, which was unfortunate considering the quantity sold. I also miss some products that used to be available, such as scones, pita bread, and halloumi cheese. As a vegetarian family, it can sometimes be difficult to find suitable options. Many bakery products now seem overly sweet, and there is a very large selection of meat products compared to vegetarian choices. I truly hope Costco will consider expanding its vegetarian section in the future, even if it’s just a small dedicated corner with more diverse options. Despite these concerns, Costco Kisarazu remains a useful place for family shopping, and I hope to see more variety and quality improvements in certain sections.

Makuhari used to have signature Hotdog eat-in space, but Kusarazu is much more spacious and feels similar to genuine American experience!
