Was so so so dissapoitned with the cashier service. Loved the place though. Me and my daughter took the train and bus for over an hour from Seoul to get there as I always wanted to see what the great Costco is about. She has her Costco membership from Europe. And since I haven't been to one... we decided to go to one in South Korea while on holiday there. The beauty products were very much cheaper than most places. Even the saline wash! We were so excited with the stuff we bought until we came to the check out. We had about 150,000W in cash as we had thought such a huge company would accept credit cards. The bill came up to 220,000W. The very very rude cashier just told us rudely NO and didnt even give us a chance to pay for the items we had with cash and told his supervisor to come cancell the bill. They only accept Hyundai cards ????? The extremely rude supervisor came, slashed cancelled the bill and while the cashier asked us to push the trolley back, the extremely rude supervisor chased us off and pushed the trolley away from us and asked us to leave... it was so embarassing. Yes, your place is great but the rudeness showed us that hospitality as we have heard is not a Korean culture and being racist is evident. If they had allowed us to buy with the cash we had, it would have been wonderful as we really wanted the beauty products. Such uncalled for rudeness.
Not so crowded, new and clean. The only thing that bothers me is their tire store that's located by the escalators going down. The smell of the rubber coming off of the tires is so strong and unpleasant. It's toxic.
In Korea, Costco is very well known and loved wholesale market. However, Costco Yangjae is very popular for its accessibility, but it is too crowded because lots of people try to visit. For the alternative branch, Costco Hanam is strongly recommended. Anyway, people should drive to reach Costco to carry much of products from here. So Costco Hanam is equipped with big and wide, multistory parking lot and single floor market. No need to move up or down like Costco Yangjae.

It's great except for the lack of parking spaces in the parking lot.
