Concept First Physics and Math Learning Centre (Clementi)

Before attending lessons at CF, I found it hard to visualise tough physics concepts. Even if I understood them, I could not put them into proper words in my answers as I was unsure of the keywords. However, under Teacher Lionel’s guidance, I managed to develop interest in learning difficult concepts and even started applying them to real life scenarios. I truly found myself loving the subject. I also saw an improvement in my answering techniques as the keywords for each topics become clearer. Exposure to difficult questions also prepared me mentally to ace exams. This eventually earned me an A2 in O Level from a mere pass in Sec 3 WA1.

I sent my second child to Concept First at the Clementi branch for physics and additonal math tuition, after a great experience with my elder daughter. As usual, initial consultation was very useful and informative as it helped identify her strengths and areas to work on. I was once again impressed and reassured by the structured system and clear methods the centre adopts to support every student’s growth. We joined in February 2025, and fast forward to today, my child achieved distinctions in both Physics and A.Maths. The teachers are professional, encouraging and will go the extra mile by providing consultations to help. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a committed team that truly cares about their child’s academic journey.

W tuition center. Im an ex student from Nan Hua high, and when i first started out i was failing physics and even considered dropping it. After joining concept first, my grades jumped to an A1 for my next exam and remained at A1 all the way until olvls, where i scored an A1 as well. The teachers do their very best to ensure that you understand the physics concepts and give you in depth tips and explanations to help you have a deeper understanding of each chapter. My teachers, Mr Lionel and Mr Kong, are truly the best. For anyone looking for a tuition center to pull up their physics grades, Concept First has my utmost support.

Happy with the learning support given to my child in the Lower Secondary Math and Science programme at Concept First. The centre is clearly run by passionate and committed teachers who take the time to ensure every student gets the help they need. The notes are well-organised and effective, making revision much smoother. I’m confident in their approach and have happily continued with their Sec 3 A.Math and E.Math classes this year. Concept First has been extremely helpful to me. The teaching by Mr Jeremy in Secondary 3 and by Mr Calvin in Secondary 4, has been very clear, structured, and focused on understanding concepts rather than memorising formulas and definitions. Mr Calvin and Mr Jeremy have been very patient and are always ready to clear any doubts. They also made the learning environment very conducive and fun which made it more enjoyable to learn!
