Cinder Steakhouse at Wheeler's Estate

Lovely place with good ambience, not crowded and noisy. We ordered the foie gras, iberico pork chop, filet mignon, some asparagus, and the sticky date pudding. The foie gras was crisp on the outside and the sourness of the sauce helped to cut the fattiness of the foie gras, excellent flavour. The pork chop was great as well, flavourful and juicy. Unfortunately, the filet mignon, which was supposed to be medium rare was closer to rare, especially in the centre, even after it was brought back to the kitchen again. It was a bit disappointing, because the edge of the cut, which was medium rare, was actually so good. This is surprising for a steakhouse. 😅 The asparagus was decent, had a good bite. Sticky date pudding was pretty good! Price was abt $200+

We had a wonderful dining experience at Cinder Steakhouse. The food was excellent; beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and clearly crafted with care. The ambience was just as impressive: relaxed, and perfect for a leisurely meal. What really made the evening special was the outstanding service. Karma was attentive, warm, and made us feel incredibly welcome throughout the night. Kudos as well to Head Chef Steven for the superb food (completely forgot to take a photo of the steak and lobster), and to Ling and the rest of the restaurant team for their professionalism and hospitality. A great spot for both the food and the experience. Highly recommended!

*UPDATED REVIEW* Revisited 3 weeks later and the lobster bisque dropped both in quantity (volume) and also the quality (the flavor was milder and consistency not as thick) A disappointment Tried salmon tartare which was very very ordinary like minced up salmon - will not recommend this dish ========== Absolutely zero regrets traveling all the way to Seletar for Cinder! Such a wonderful delight. Arguably the best lobster bisque in SG. Both in terms of taste and quality and quantity. Unlike many other places where the bisque is more cream than essence or very few lobster pieces. Cinder lobster bisque is a solid and substantial dish that one must order. Thumbs up! 👍🏻 Service crew were extremely polite courteous and friendly. Making us feel very at ease and at home. Really enjoyable. Tried the lobster linguine, beef carpaccio and iberico pork chop which were great as well. Beef was very fresh. Will definitely return again for more!

Truffle fries set us up for a great meal right from the start. Crispy, fragrant, and hard to stop snacking on. The lobster pasta was very flavourful and satisfying, with generous seafood taste in every bite. The steak was done right, perfectly cooked to medium rare and full of flavour. It paired beautifully with the recommended wine, which really elevated the whole experience. Lovely interior with a warm, stylish atmosphere, plus a wonderful walkable outdoor area that makes it even more enjoyable. A great spot for a relaxed and quality meal.

Exceptional Anniversary Experience! We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here and were truly impressed. The service staff went above and beyond — they surprised us with an anniversary cake, and consistently addressing us by name made us feel genuinely welcomed and at home. The food was outstanding. The king mushrooms were especially flavourful, the steak was soft and perfectly cooked, and the lobster was rich and delicious. The lobster linguine was the highlight of the night — a must-try dish you shouldn’t miss. A memorable dining experience, and we’ll definitely be back!
