Fair mexican food in Singapore. Nice martini, I really enjoyed the hoppy donkey craft beer with my partner as well. Very refreshing. Prices very steep for the servings. Had a generally positive experience with the food. I will note that every variation, chimichanga, loaded nacho, bowl, tasted approximately the same. As if they have a few core ingredients and sauces, and slather them on merely in a slightly different format. To be fair, I don't think thats an unreasonable way of doing Mexican food, especially in Singapore. I will say that there was a minute amount of pico de gallo on each of our orders though. And when I asked for more, the manager informed me that that would be an additional 3$ charge. Fair enough, but I didn't enjoy that. And given the minute sizes already given, am not sure I would have gotten my money's worth. This is contrast to joints such as Gomez y Gomez which provide a free flow of such, self-serve. I think that is a very important component, and what people want, when it comes to Mexican food! The membership system and offers, were also arcane, and offers such as 'ladies night' ending 7pm, seemed calculated to leave a bad taste in the mouth for the customer. Not sure thats the way I'd do a rewards and offers system, thats for sure.

My colleague and I came here for their weekday lunch special. And it was a pretty good deal! We ordered fish and beef taco and it came as a pair, so we swap one taco each and had 2 flavours. The lunch set came with a drink. Food was pretty good! It had both Mexican and Singapore flavours. I thought the fried fish taco had a bit of overused oil taste. But overall I liked the food. Will try their rice bowls next time.

My husband and I like this outlet specifically a lot. The choice of indoor or outdoor seating is comfortable regardless of weather, and the food is always good. Would like to especially mention our server VJ, who is very attentive, very charming and friendly, and uplifts the mood of the place. When she noticed that I was trying to get the carne asada out of my teeth, with no hesitation she offered me a toothpick. This kind of passionate service is very rare. She handles all her tables very attentively, immediately clearing plates to make space, while making small lighthearted conversation which makes the restaurant feel like a third place. Many thanks to VJ for the amazing service on my wedding anniversary brunch, made it memorable and special. Food wise I really recommend the fish tacos and the agua tropical. The lunch sets are very worth the money. ~$20 for chips w dips, a main and a drink.

The fish taco is very well done! Super crunchy crust. The taco is pillowy. The mango salsa and pickled onions are refreshing. The churros are to die for. Crunchy and fluffy inside and the chocolate sauce is gao and thick. The other dishes that my family ate are all very good. Had praises for them. Service is awesome too! Nice chill place! Kid friendly (has kids meals and also colouring paper and crayons) and we celebrated my mum's birthday. Staff helped prep the cake!

Very lovely vibe: Friendly, engaging and accommodating staff. Live music which one of the waitress’s couldn’t help but jive added to the vibrancy. Food and beverages hit the spot. Balmy breezes kept us cool throughout. Will be back.
