Very impressed with the service of their staffs especially a staff called Praw. She did her best to find a table for us and got us settled down really quickly and food was served amazing fast too. Despite the fast serving of food, the food tasted exceptionally well too. Pricing also very reasonable and alot of food options on the menu.
If you’re looking for a slice of Bangkok in the quiet enclave of Hillview, ChilChil Thai Street Kitchen at HillV2 is a solid bet. Even on a weekday evening, the place was buzzing—proving that word has definitely gotten out about their authentic flavors. The Atmosphere & Service The first thing you notice is the energy. Despite being packed on a weekday evening, the staff managed the crowd with impressive grace. They were friendly and attentive, ensuring we were seated as quickly as possible and keeping the water glasses full. It’s a cozy, bustling spot that feels genuinely welcoming. The Food We dived into a few Thai staples to see if they lived up to the hype: Seafood Tom Yam: A standout dish. It struck that perfect, delicate balance between spicy and sour. It wasn't just "heat"—you could taste the lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves. The seafood was fresh and generous, making it a great starter to open up the palate. Chicken Wings: You can’t go wrong here. These were fried to a perfect golden crisp while remaining juicy on the inside. They had that signature Thai marinade that makes them dangerously addictive. Seafood Phat Thai: Often the true test of a Thai kitchen, and ChilChil passed. The noodles had a great "wok hei" (breath of the wok) and weren't overly sweet or clumped together. Again, the seafood portions were respectable. Final Verdict ChilChil delivers exactly what it promises: honest, tasty Thai street food in a comfortable setting.
This Thai restaurant was truly impressive from the very first bite. The flavors were rich, well-balanced, and authentically Thai. Every dish was carefully prepared with fresh ingredients, and both the presentation and taste were outstanding. The rice dishes and soup were especially flavorful and perfectly seasoned—no extra condiments needed. The dessert was refreshing and a perfect way to end the meal. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff, and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable—ideal for dining with friends or family. As a Thai customer, I can confidently say that this place delivers truly authentic Thai flavors. Highly recommended and definitely worth coming back to. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Maybe there wasn’t enough staff, but there was no one to show you to your seats. One of the worse tomyam mama noodles I’ve eaten. Bland tasteless. Sausage with wonton is interesting. Ok to have it. Garlic pork slice is great with beer. Otherwise it was average dish. Insufficient enough to redeem the restaurant. Service was however quite fast.
their basil is pretty good sia! spicy! pairs so well with their creamy omelette yum would def buy again their staff are very friendly and outgoing. also provide water. unfortunately idk why my deep fried garlic pork took like 25 mins to come out... everyone else around us were seated later but had their food coe before mine >
