An absolutely outstanding dining experience from start to finish. The service was impeccable — the staff were attentive without being intrusive, constantly refilling our water and patiently introducing each course as it was served. Shoutout to Jerryl and Zhi Xian. Their attention to detail truly elevated the entire meal. The food was just as impressive. Every dish was beautifully presented, with thoughtful and interesting flavour combinations that worked wonderfully together. A special mention to the beetroot butter — such a gorgeous shade of red, with a subtle savoury depth that made it incredibly memorable. I also appreciated how well-spaced the tables were, which gave us a comfortable sense of privacy throughout the evening. All in all, an awesome dining experience that I would gladly return for.
Wonderful experience at Chez West! I’m writing this review as someone who visited the restaurant after having lunch at KOMA, and Chez West still truly impressed. The students were professional and prompt, and the food was excellent — I especially loved the cod fish main. We were extremely lucky to receive a kitchen tour from the lecturer, which made the experience even more memorable. Beyond a full and satisfied stomach, I gained so much knowledge today. We will definitely be back!
Very impressed with the service by Jimmy and Jayden. They made our evening really wonderful! The food also were delicately and exquisitely played and served at the right temperatures and consistency! Hat off to the chef(s) who spent their time putting their all into it! Especially the appetizers! :)
Excellent value at $48 for 4 course dinner, including bread with gula melaka butter. Stand out for us was the cod fish done 2 ways. Attentive service and pleasant environment.
Visited 21 Jan 2026 Managed to make it down for their latest Set Menu B! Amuse bouche was pretty unique with a fried take on clam. Loved the cod dish. Pretty rich dishes that we didn’t ask for additional bread rolls. (Hard roll was really quite tough this evening.)
