Really enjoyed my meal at Casa Vostra! The food was delicious, and it’s a great place to satisfy an Italian food craving without having to head into town. The restaurant turnover is pretty fast, so even when it’s busy, the waiting time is usually quite reasonable, although it does depend on the time of the day. The only thing I felt could be improved is the pricing. While the food is good, some items seem a little steep; a can of Coke at $6 was quite surprising. I do like that they provide complimentary refillable water, but having to help yourself isn’t always practical when the restaurant is full, as there can be a queue at the water station. It would be nice if each table was given a bottle of water to start with, and having ice available would make the water much more refreshing, especially since it tasted quite warm. Overall, it’s a solid spot for good Italian food in the heartland. I’d definitely come back, and with a few small improvements to the dining experience, it would be even better.
I’ve always wanted to try Casa Vostra, but every time I passed by their City Hall outlet, the massive crowds completely turned me away. Since I live in Tampines, I was thrilled when they opened a branch right in my neighborhood—no more traveling to town just to see if the hype was real! We decided to head down on a Sunday evening. Unsurprisingly, the crowd followed them here. We ended up waiting for about an hour before getting a table. Thankfully, the experience improved drastically once we were seated: • The Service: The staff were incredibly friendly despite the dinner rush, which is always a huge plus. • The Speed: I was impressed by how fast the food was served. We didn't have to sit around hungry after that long wait. • The Food: Generally, everything was pretty good and packed with flavor. The absolute highlight for me was the pizza—the crust was phenomenal, perfectly textured, and exactly what I was hoping for. The Verdict Is the food good? Definitely. Would I wait an hour for it again? Probably not. If the queue is a moderate 15 to 20-minute wait, I will absolutely be back to satisfy my pizza cravings. But for a full one-hour standby, I might wait for the opening buzz to die down a little first.
Superb thin, smoky pizza and robust flavours in pastas. I liked the sea bass ravioli. Good presentation of food. Free-flow water and attentive service were great, better if staff exude more warmth. An enjoyable meal—I will definitely return!
Visited the new Casa Vostra - Tampines Mall on opening day (15 May 2026) and overall had a really enjoyable dining experience! The pizzas and pastas were definitely the highlights for us. The pizza had a beautifully airy crust with a nice chew, fresh ingredients, and great flavour overall. The pasta was rich, comforting, and well-executed too — you can tell there’s attention to quality and technique. The porchetta, however, was a little underwhelming compared to the rest of the meal and didn’t quite stand out for us. Service was excellent throughout the meal. Staff were friendly, attentive, and surprisingly quick despite the crowd. The whole restaurant had a lively yet comfortable vibe that made the dining experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. We also really liked the decor and setup of the space. The open-concept pizza station was a nice touch — it was fun watching the chefs prepare and fire the pizzas fresh on the spot, which added to the atmosphere. My only main feedback would be the portion sizes. While the food was genuinely good, the servings felt quite small for the price point, especially for sharing. Hopefully they become more generous with portions over time because the flavours and overall concept are solid. Overall, still a great addition to the East side and definitely worth trying if you enjoy good Italian food, especially their pizzas and pastas.
Fantastic, especially the pizza. Taste is very close like the Italian ones. Only down point is i have no idea why is there always so many people queuing and honestly queuing outside even before the restaurant open for quite some time, is not really the type of experience anybody will want.
