Complete Disappointment – ​​A Scam by "be Social" Kitchen Tester Campaign We fell for the so-called "kitchen tester" campaign by be Social – and would never do it again. What was advertised as an exclusive discount for supposed product testers turned out to be a completely normal kitchen order at the normal price – without any special benefit or tester bonus. The promised discounts simply didn't exist. Neither during the consultation nor at the point of purchase was any form of discount or special treatment mentioned. On the contrary: The employees at the furniture store knew absolutely nothing about the campaign and couldn't provide any information about it. Particularly brazen was the communication via WhatsApp with a representative from be Social, who falsely claimed to be an employee of Optiwelt. In our view, this is a clear attempt at deception and borders on fraudulent misrepresentation. It's a shame that reputable furniture stores engage in (or are forced to engage in) such disreputable marketing campaigns – or at least lend themselves to them, knowingly or unknowingly. This is not what trust looks like. Conclusion: A disappointing experience that reeks of a scam. No tester benefits, no transparency, no honesty. Stay away!
