My two coworkers and I stopped by for an evening out and had a fantastic experience. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcomed. The food was absolutely delicious, and everything arrived perfectly prepared. The team went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable, and we left very impressed. Weβll definitely be backπ
Had the pleasure of enjoying dinner here while on a work trip. I enjoyed sitting at the chefβs bar and observing the kitchen. The food was delicious. My server had excellent recommendations and knew the food very well. The kitchen was kept immaculate through the whole service. Everyone was calm and just seemed to be enjoying their jobs. I tried the scallop crudo, tomato and hazelnut dip, and the pistachio and ricotta ravioli. Everything was exceptional.
Barbarella is one of the most beautiful dining spaces in the city and, honestly, the setting almost outshines the (still very good) food. Like other Concorde Group restaurants, the vibe and design elevate the whole experience. Parking in this area can be a nightmare, so plan to arrive early or youβll be circling for a while. Food-wise, the steak was very well priced and surprisingly high quality for that pricepoint. The pizza really stood out too: amazing crust and, somehow, the only pizza my gluten-intolerant friend can eat in Calgary. (As always, try at your own risk!) Staff were attentive, friendly, and kept the experience smooth from start to finish. Overall, a great spot with strong value, excellent service, and a setting thatβs worth the visit on its own. The parking is the only drawback, but once youβre inside, itβs worth it.
An absolutely stunning space with delicious food! Happy hour is 50% off pizza and cocktails so a pitcher of Aperol Spritz was $22.50 - say less! We enjoyed the halloumi, calamari, the date and Gorgonzola pizza (a little too rich for my personal taste) and the Calabrese salami pizza. Overall, the vibe was amazing and the service was perfect. I love when servers check in before happy hour ends to see if you want to put in anything else. Cannot wait to go back!
Went here for a team lunch, was a bigger group so we made reservations and they put us in one of their rooms. The ricotta crostini, salmon crudo, and chicken piccata were really good. Our group also tried the halloumi, polenta fries (from late night menu), and the calamari and they were really tasty too. Will be back!
