Made our way to Baden Restaurant & Pub on Friday night, 17th April purely for the vibes, and it delivered. The place was buzzing, and the host handled the crowd like a pro. Tried their drafts Erdinger Weissbier & Erdinger Dunkel - both smooth, easy sips. Got samosas for myself (vegetarian) - very crispy and perfect with the beers. We spent S$61.49 for 3 beers + a light bar snack.

Really enjoyed their German pork knuckle dish. Crispy but yet the meat is tender & falls apart when you cut through & eat it. Had a few beers to go with it. Perfect for dinner.

Came on a Friday evening. Great HH prices until 9pm at $12 per pint for erdinger weissbier and dunkel. Order a currywurst with fries to share. Pretty tasty. Service is prompt and not crowded at all. Though one can hear the conversation from the next table.

We were here as a couple and deliberately ordered German food. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. I had three different types of sausage and fish and chips in beer batter. The sausages were all soft, not snappy at all, and very bland in taste. This is not what I expect from German sausages. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant or powdered mash. The sauerkraut was also dull and lacked any real flavor. The fish and chips were not edible for me. The fish seemed to be a very cheap variety, soft and mushy, with no freshness. Maybe I am used to better quality, but this was far from good fish and chips. The best part of the meal were the fries, which unfortunately tasted like a standard supermarket product. Overall, German food is advertised here, but the taste does not live up to that claim. For the price and expectation, the experience was disappointing.
